Thx, Mike!
Some days I get hungry (cant stay full) and other days Im not. Just depends and it's hard for me to gauge. My body is freaken weird in that sense.
Today Ive been hungry basically all day...lol. Meaning I can keep on eating.
Training the way I do, waiting 4-5 hours to eat Meal #1, those first 1500-2000cals ingested mean nothing to me. Body soaks it up like a sponge.
Keep working hard, man!

LOL @ Madonna! Maybe I should listen to some Madonna and I can lift as heavy as you can LOL
Haha, yeah, but there are still so many haters on those who train fasted.. I'm sure "fed" people can do a pretty darn good job, but it's those who run their mouth with all the broscience that's such a bother!

I train almost fasted currently .
I eat lunch at 1 p.m. and train at 7-8 p.m., I am quite OK with this.
BTW Madonna kicked ass in the late 80s. The way she looks in video was my inspiration when I only started lifting. Now I have more mass, but I still think she looks seriously awesome here.

K Manu, need your opinion here. After my retardedly long slow cut I am back bulking andit feels amazing!
However I never reached my goal BF of sub 10%. I just couldn't take it anymore and started binging like a pregnant woman. 7 to 8 months at a deficit broke me.
What do you think of a 2 month bulk then back to cutting for 2 months? You think that is too short of a cycle to really do anything other than a mental reset?

8-10 week bulks are what I do, but I have my macros dialed in from the start so I know im making progress from the get go.
If you know your body, and can bulk for the 8-10 weeks while only gaining 1-3%bf then go for it. Otherwise take it slower and dial in on whats right for you over 12-16 weeks. My training log - http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?p=639267583#post639267583

Meso.I was hoping you would chime in. Yeah I keep my diet pretty spot on. My only concern was readjusting after having to bring my calories so low. Didn't really know where to begin again so I went up 500 for a week and then just went up an additional 500. Seemed like a good plan. I had gotton as low as 1650 cals a day at the end of the cut and wasn't sure how quickly I would gain weight.

That brought me up to 2700 and I was going to hold there to see what my weight gains were like prior to adding another 500.

I will say this, after months of stagnant lifts my weights are jumping up at an alarming rate.
FEELS GOOD!!!
Thanks for the advice.

Solid advice Meso

PB, you ever do any power lifting early on? Ever have any bench or squat goals?

When I started training I did a 3 day split for about two years. I would DL and squat quite a bit. Never bench on a regular basis. Goal was never really powerlifting. Im really not into 1 rep max for strength.
For me my goal has always been strength and endurance - so my training is a bit different.
Currently, I am doing front squats (4th exercise in quad routine) and hack squats. Get the best development from those exercises. Aiming to get my front squat up to 405lbs then video
I dont bench. For me its a useless exercise. Although, in my current chest routine I do a 225lb bench rep max - thats just for shyts and giggles. Usually get 17-18 reps but do it as my fourth exercise in my routine. Like to see where I stand against the NFL players at the combines..lol.BRAINS & GAINS

The above statement/post does not represent the opinions of anyone in real life. This is the internet. Not real life. Anyone who cannot grasp the difference between the two lacks the basic intelligence necessary for survival and should not be allowed to form opinions.

Pretty amazing you had the cojones to stick with this for so long! I mean, when people first start out (before they get huge) its not odd for them to use powerlifting as motivation since you can often dead 500 lbs before you get 19" guns. Then once they achieve some power lifting success they move onto another challenge (usually BB).
But Manu, he set his goals on BB'ing from the get go and never lost site. Good work man!
Oh and it makes me feel good to know manu can only bench 225x18 Im not too far behind you there!Fierce Five log:
