Great job for specifying how much creatine and caffeine you use in your proprietary blend! I wish more companies would follow your suit when using proprietary blends!
Good luck with the new product!

A recent study, combining creapure creatine with Russian Tarragon extract (Artemisia dracunculus L) was presented at this years ISSN conference. This placebo controlled study looked at plasma concentrations of creatine when combined with Russian taragon extract . Eleven healthy male subjects ingested either creatine(creapure)+russian tarragon extract or a placebo. Creatine concentrations in the plasma were than measured at 60,90 and 120 minutes. The groups that ingested the creatine with the added russian tarragon extract, showed significant reductions in plasma creatine concentrations. The reductions were substantial and comparable to the area under curve(AUC) of the carbohydrate+creatine study using 75g of glucose, as well as the protein+creatine study, that used 50g protein and 47g CHO, combined with creatine. This is a major breakthrough study on creatine supplementation.

Seriously guys, do you realize what a big deal this extract is? It's impacting plasma creatine concentrations comparable to 75 GRAMS of dextrose or 50GRAMS of protein+47GRAMS of CHO. This isn't some small/minor effect its having, this is HUGE and amazing IMO. I also wouldn't be surprised if it impacts other nutrients absorption, based on my personal experience with it.

Great, thanks HIE
Actually, no, surprisingly, as it has no impact on blood glucose levels in HEALTHY people(a good thing). I need to be careful here and can't go into detail, due to patent issues. But, the blood glucose disposal effects it has on type two diabetics, it DOES NOT have on healthy individuals. I have gotten into some very interesting conversations on how it is working with the researchers... perhaps directly on the CreaT transporters. The truthful answer though, is we do not know the exact MOA yet but we know it's not through being an insulin mimitec or potentiator ect. Fascinating stuff, no doubt.
BTW, I just emailed you.Last edited by ATHLETIC EDGE NUTRITION; 11-06-2008 at 04:41 PM.

O I C. Excellent addition to this product.
One thing I can not stand is the creatine 'loading' products with 35g dex for every 5g CrM. The only thing these products 'load' are manufacturer's pockets with money (because they charge a small fortune for simple sugars), and the consumer's adipocytes with glucose.Last edited by HalleluYAH; 11-06-2008 at 04:44 PM.

Yes, PreSurge is the first sports nutrition product to EVER use this extract. That has been 100% CONFIRMED by the manufactures and researchers, so I don't want to hear any BS from the haters who love to spread negativity.
IMO, in time, this extract is going to change the way ALOT of people supplement creatine. The more research I was presented on it, the more excited I got. There has never been anything to have such a huge impact on plasma creatine concentrations, other than 75g of dex or large doses of Pro+CHO. All this, from an plant EXTRACT.Who we are and what we stand for as a company:http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/supplement-company-of-the-month-athletic-edge.html?searchterm=athletic

Also, if you do a search in bb.com's store for NEURAVENA, you will only find ONE product that contains it other than PreSurge and it is a FAT LOSS product. http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/no2/8fx.html
Neuravena is some amazing stuff on its own, but combined with PEA and the other stims, it makes for one incredibly intense, focused energy rush. I am SURE you will start seeing more of this extract as well. Just remember where you first saw it.Last edited by ATHLETIC EDGE NUTRITION; 11-06-2008 at 04:56 PM.

Believe me, I was taken back when I found out NEURAVENA was in it and did some reading on it... the cool ingredients in PreSurge are staggering!!
I really like DLPA and Icariin always gave me better pumps than any ingredient i have tried pre-workout... I can't wait to try this and I hope everyone else is as anxious as me...
Seb and AEN, you guys really got to get it out all the cool things you have in here... you got some new exciting things most don't know about and should read into, but most people have to have a HUGE Ad hit them in the head to see the light. I hope you have a good writeup done so people can see just what you have here.

What's in the O product, haven't seen it.
I am hopping by tomorrow.
It is very new, that is why. It's funny between the German creapure, tarragon extract and the Neuravena, which is swiss, PreSurge, is one worldly formula. There were certainly some language barriers at the start of our communication's.Who we are and what we stand for as a company:http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/supplement-company-of-the-month-athletic-edge.html?searchterm=athletic
