Was a smart move on Levrones part, as Bob pointed out in the beginning Jim Mannion, Raphael Santojas and even Steve Weinberger were in attendance front and center. So he was like BOOM how ya like me now and with the crowd firmly behind him it kind of gave him a leg up.
Levrone also told Bob in the Flex interview that he would be seeking the Arnold Classic invite so who knows what he can achieve by then. Either way I commend the dude on what hes achieved in 5 months when its been 13 years since his last show prep. Outstanding!
On a side note, the standing O by some of his peers when he walked in, the way they talk about him in reverence as there idol and standing on the same stage, the way Ruhl, Dexter, and Flex all got choked up talking to him and about him in the different interviews. This guy has mad respect from his peers and the fans and is walking the walk.... his legacy will remain intact no matter where he places. If you always put limit on everything you do, physical or anything else. It will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. - Bruce Lee

Amazing, This guy is 52 years old, has 6 months of serious training behind him, look like à 30 years old male (face, skin) and still has a competitive body.
Twenty years ago, before internet, he was a unachievable goal, a model. He's still here.
Levrone has already marked bodybuilding history, whatever his placing.

I don't think his waist is too much wider than it used to be. Why judge waist size in a most muscular shot when the arms are covering half the abs and usually some serratus?
It looks good here:
The most muscular pose gives the illusion of a wider waist and he's not 100% back to old size, (at least in these recent pics before carb-up).

He wouldn't have enough time for it; if it were this year...
I feel like he has to be trolling or just simply doing it to promote his supplement company... There was a vid of him struggling to squat 315lb; which probably showcased in his leg development this olympia. The outter sweeps of his quads made his waist looks bigger and I honestly don't think he has a 29-inch like he stated...
He should compete again next year; if he's really that serious. Can't take olympias this lightly... By the way, he doesn't always revert back to some DYEL/nonlifting-physique (like most people yap about); most of the offseason he does maintain quite a big physique. e.g. unless if he was injured, or sing/acting on the road he then doesn't bother working out...
Oh well, good to see him compete. What he had accomplished was amazing anyway.

Just because they guessed right, (which is a 50/50 chance), it doesnt take away the fact that deciding placings or being so sure how a bodybuilder will look on stage based on gym or hotel shots, is idiotic. I'm surprised so many here have a hard time understanding that and havent learned from seeing Toney Freeman bathroom shots or 09 Jay. Look it up

You can nitpick the odds but you know what I'm saying, my point still stands. I guess you thought Toney Freeman would win the O after seeing those bathroom shots in '08.
It's not complicated. If you think you can judge placings or be COMPLETELY certain of how well someone will do on stage judging by hotel and gym pictures days or weeks out, you're just delusional.
You think he was training for strength? And the clip of him squatting 315 was in the middle of a workout, we have no idea how much he can actually squat. Far from pathetic.

Anyway, OP wasn't Levrowned, like you claimed. He was completely right, and on a reasonable basis that has nothing to do with believing he was infallible.Feathered Nether Regions

that is quite a confused leap you're making.

Hard to break it to you, but this is clearly outlined disagreement, and it's completely compatible with my stance on Freeman.Feathered Nether Regions
