People are like, ''you're never gonna get married? Have fun being lonely in your 40s-50s+'' It somehow implies that NOTHING CAN GO WRONG by marrying and that you'll become happy/ less lonely
Sure, if you marry a great woman and you guys have kids and she doesn't divorce
Is it true for the man who got ****ed over by his wife/the system, got divorced, can barely sees his kids? or for the guy whose ex wife has fed his kids with made up stories about him so they begin to hate him while he works his ass off every single day to ****ing support them? (child support and ****). Even if they don't hate you, theyll start having their own lives, rarely visit you and you're still lonely. (Unless you find the mythic faithful kind woman that will stay by your sides forever, have fun betting on that one tho)
and then you're 40/50, broke, lonely, u might find another kunt to marry and the same scenario might happen again.
(If your kids don't hate you and visit u often, its good then) or if your new wife is a good person it's good but that **** is like winning the lotto, 0.0000000000000000001227....350% probability
Play safe

Why do people assume that staying single= miserable life. And marrying=happy life?

Because they aren't happy with themselves, and seek acceptance and validation from others.
Pretty fukkin lame if you ask me.
QED:
"got married 10 months ago, happier than ever.It is amazing feeling to have someone care so much for you. B there for you no matter what.Do anything you want.
Its like rebirth. As a child wehad our parents give us what we desire, now I have my wife."
Divorce by 10 years. The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.

" Lycurgus also put a kind of public stigma upon confirmed bachelors. They were excluded from the sight of the young men and maidens at their exercises, and in winter the magistrates ordered them to march round the market-place in their tunics only, and as they marched, they sang a certain song about themselves, and its burden was that they were justly punished for disobeying the laws. Besides this, they were deprived of the honour and gracious attentions which the young men habitually paid to their elders. Therefore there was no one to find fault with what was said to Dercyllidas, reputable general though he was. As he entered a company, namely, one of the younger men would not offer him his seat, but said: "Indeed, thou hast begotten no son who will one day give his seat to me." - Plutarch Lives' Lycurgus of Sparta
It is time honored that men who do not further the society with children, do not shape its future.
Its hard to justify modern choices and failings with thousands of years of tradition. Modern life dictates that not everyone can reproduce or the world would explode with population, yet the men who dont are still looked at as failures. For every man, there is a sentence, a string of words, that has the power to destroy him

Don't want to sound rude but UNLESS YOU ARE A WOMAN WHO LIVES IN AFRICA/INDIA/AFGHANISTAN or other 3rd world places (no hate) you have no right to try and feel the same feels we're currently feeling concerning our feelings towards marriage
You probably have the ''LUL GON GET DRUNK,**** FACED, FUK EVERY GUYS ON EARTH. IM A BAD INDEPENDANT BITCH WHO DON'T NEED NO MAN,DONT WANT TO BE TIED LOL, GON GET BORED AFTER ****ING THE SAME DICK FOR AGES,NEED TO FUK AS MANY DICK AS POSSIBLE LUL,SO FUK GETTING MARRIED CUZ THIS PUSSY OF MINE SURE AINT GETTING TIED DOWN'' mentality, that's why you're against marriage
But we are genuine worries, like getting royally ****ed up but divorce laws and ****,not being able to see your kids and be driven to the edge of suicide because of that ****
My mom told me today the situation of one of her coworkers who was gonna get retired this year. He was all set up and **** and then his wife decides to split with him JUST BEFORE HE ****ING RETIRES, SO SHE TAKES HALF HIS ****ING ****. So he decides to keep working for 3-4 years (He's ****ing 62) in order to save up a little bit more money but he knows that it won't be enough. He's depressed as ****. AND ****ING GUESS WHAT?!?!?!? 85% OF THE FEMALE COWORKERS MAKES FUN OF HIM/LAUGH AT HIM BEHIND HIS BACK FOR LOSING HALF HIS **** JUST BEFORE GETTING RETIRED. (My mom hears all their ****ing ****s, i swear this is the kind of **** that makes people go bat**** crazy insane) ****...now i'm raging, thanks alot ....

Just as an interesting note. Studies show that married people are happier. However, their happiness didn't increase because of marriage, it's just that happier people are more likely to get married. After a fairly short "honeymoon period", their happiness falls to roughly the level it was at prior to marriage.
