It is an awesome read. Even if you are an atheist it is a beautiful story at least.
As to the OP, God created the Angels He endowed them with great knowledge. In that knowledge the Angels were given to know the consequences to disobedience if they sinned. Yet in that foreknowledge some of them decided to disobey and God had to punish them immediately. But they were forewarned. Jesus said He saw Satan fall like lightening and that he the devil became a murderer from the beginning. The Fall of the Angels happened quickly. But what is God to do with them? God does not waste them that is He has a purpose and allows or gives permission for the evil spirits to tempt us.

Pretty sure he became "The Devil" before God created Humans so I dont see how he could have "wanted to liberate humans"
For the most part its agreed that he led an insurrection against God and was cast down into hell with all the angels who fought with him. Some people consider him to be the snake that tempted Adam/Eve in the garden of Eden, which means he was already "evil" when the first human was made.

Gotta play Shin Megami Tensai brah.
Lucifer (Hebrew — הילל, Helel) is a prominent figure in the various Religions, with his most infamous act being rebelling against God and subsequently falling from grace. The name Lucifer is derived from earlier Latin proses and poetry; lux, lucis, "light", and fero, ferre, "to bear, bring", symbolizing his role as the "Morning Star" and the strongest Seraph, the highest ranked angel serving God prior his fall from grace.
The reason for Lucifer's rebellion differs from interpretation to interpretation, however, three most accepted reasons fall in a refusal to bow down to mankind upon its creation, disagreement about God's plan of salvation, or sinful pride in aspiring to overthrow his creator and become ruler of Heaven himself.
Curiously, while many interpretations depict Lucifer taking the name of Satan after his fall from grace. However, the name Lucifer was never identified with Satan until the Latin translation of the Book Isaiah in the Christian era. A specific passage in the book refers to the defeat of a King of Babylon, who is named as Helel ("shining one"), a name that refers to the Morning Star or Day Star, which subsequently became translated as Lucifer. In the Book of Peter, the name also referred to the Morning Star in general, but with no relation to the Devil. Jesus himself is sometimes called the Morning Star, but not "Lucifer", even in Latin.
Cliffs: -Lucifers fall has multiple interpretations.
- Satan and Lucifer aren't confirmed to be the same entity.
- Jesus also gets called the same name, adding to the confusion.

Another reddit ****, the reason lucifer became satan was because he wanted to be like god and when god said he wasn't having it, lucifer dragged some angels with him (demons). The killing count is ridiculous when you think that this is a "god" who can do whatever he wants plus this god gave his life for you which is something satan would never do. In the end why do you care if you don't believe in it ?

So you guys are telling me that instead of clicking his fingers and erasing satans existence
He condemned him to a place where he would rule supreme and would eternally punish every human who did not conform to his agenda?
Oh lawd if this is the case i'd rather not be born god you selfish kunt.
Shouldn't we go around killing all babies then? Since babies go straight to heaven? Wouldn't you rather live in eternal happiness in heaven than take a chance on life in which you have a 99% chance of going to hell?
Why doesn't he just show himself to make it easier to believe?
So many questions, so little time

If you're going to mock someone's belief be aware that satan existed before adam and eve and the reason they're "Slaves" is because of satan. Before satan they were living perfect lives. And god and satan are not on the same level and satan cares about humans ? weird last time I checked he didn't give his life for them and it's satan who wants to drag them to hell. Either way it's silly to argue about this when you don't believe in it.
