Hi,
I'm fairly new at taking supplements and I just started taking the Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60. I was wondering if it works, or if anyone recommends something else. I'd really appreciate it!!

First and foremost, Supplements do just that. They supplement diet and training. Your primary concern needs to be learning and understanding proper diet and weight training for muscle and strength gains. You should go to the nutrition section of this forum and learn about counting calories, macronutrients, and how to put together a diet that is specific to your goals.
You can use protein powder to hit your daily protein needs. Also, I would not ever buy anything from GNC ever again. They are ridiculously over priced and you can find much more for your money, and for sure a higher quality protein, by buying from supplement brands such as:

-GNC is a rip off, I'd avoid shopping there/purchasing their products at all cost
-Please learn to focus on proper nutrition/training
-Supplements are simply to aid in meeting your dietary needs. They are not some miracle in powder form.USMC (2009-2013)

Its fairly expensive, but if its within your budget it will work like any other protein powder.
Just use it to help you meet your macros if you cant through whole foods. You do not specifically need protein powder post workout, and wont see any benefit versus just eating a high protein meal for example. If you arent sure what your protein macros are then you should read the stickies in the Nutrition Forum and figure them out.Official MuscleTech Representative
