Day 2 - 3/17/13
Took 1 capsule, 30 minutes before my first meal of the day (at 7:30am), had my breakfast and then trained legs at 9:30am. Didn't have my second capsule until 3:00pm.
I'm already very focused when I train so I don't feel anything out of the ordinary yet. But again, I'm still on the "trial" phase. So I will update once again, when I start using it 2 full servings daily (Tuesday).3

I bet you'll notice a slight increase in energy and focus when you bump up to 2 capsules.
Any increase in focus when you took your HHE at 3:00pm? I realize the product isn't intended for increasing focus, but sometimes an increase in energy is synonymous with an increase in focus and cognitive abilities.

Just going by what the product advertises! They listed enhanced focus as #3. I'll use two capsules tomorrow. My rest day is usually the day following legs, and I only do 1 cardio session before bed as opposed to 2 shorter sessions.

3/19/13
Took 2 capsules around 7am, and hit my fasted cardio. It hit me in about 20 minutes, and I was up and at it.
I trained chest around 11am, and boy..the combination of the hydroxycut (from 7am) and 1 scoop of my preworkout (Katalyst Nutrition Vasocor) was a little too much! It hit me pretty hard, and I felt a little too jittery! Good energy though. And after I settled down for a bit, workout went smooth. Been nursing a slight elbow injury, and today was the first time in a couple weeks where I hit barbell and dumbbell presses. So that was a plus.
The thing I like about the Hydroxycut is that it makes you sweat like no other! I'm drenched by the time I am done. I took my second serving at 3pm, and got a slight buzz.
DJAYE's Chest Workout - 3/19/13
1) Barbell Incline Press (5 sets)
2) Dumbbell Flat Press (5 sets)
3) Cable Crossovers (5 sets, *FST7 style*)
4) Hammer Strength Decline Press (2 sets)
5) Precor Flat Press (2 sets, *dropset)3

I got a new job and will be working about 30 min away now. So this weekend will consist of gym shopping! (In addition to training of course). I'm currently a member of 24 Hour Fitness, and there is one within 10 minutes of my new office (but it's an older location), and I will be checking out a nearby Gold's Gym later this week as well.
The nice part about my current job is that the hours are very flexible and it allows me to leave for a long lunch to train midday. The new position pays more but it's a traditional 9-5pm job and I'm not much of a fan at training at night. So we'll figure something out soon.3

7 Weeks Out today! Feeling good, and still having a ton of carbs.
I used the HHE as a preworkout yesterday and got in a great leg workout. Had three meals prior, and had good energy throughout the session.
630am - 2 Caps of HHE + Fasted Cardio
800am - 1/2 cup oats, 2 scoops Phase 8, 1 teaspoon peanut butter
1030am - 6 oz chicken + asparagus
1230pm - 6 oz chicken + 1 cup of rice
200pm - 2 caps HHE (PREWORKOUT)
My suggestion for the afternoon is to have it 1-2 hours after a meal to allow for your food to digest and so you feel like you are on an "empty stomach". My buzz hit very well, and I has good energy throughout my session. I was so spent by the end of the workout, all I could do was the stationary bike. Ended up coming back for cardio later that night before bed. It was also nice to train solo for once. Sometimes the best partner is just you and your music!
DJAYEs "QUAD"-ZILLA Workout
1) Leg Press (45 degree angle) - 7 sets
2) Leg Press (90 degree angle) - 5 sets
3) Stiff Legged Deadlifts - 4 sets
4) Hack Squats (Narrow Stance, footing is lower on the pad) - 3 sets
5) Seated Leg Curls - 4 sets
6) Squats - 2 sets (15 reps)
I typically hit calves twice a week during my cardio sessions at night.3

Thanks team! I am excited but taking the new position puts a damper in my training regime big time. Ideally, I could start it after my contest prep is completed but hey I'm not an IFBB pro and still need to pay my bills lol. It is a good opportunity and the $$$ is there. So I can't deny it at this point in time.
And that's mainly the reason why I have to find the right gym! We have more "health clubs" around here so at night, it's always packed with people hogging the equipment. I need that big warehouse style gym with multiple racks, benches, cages, etc!3

Thanks brotha!
The cardio doesn't hinder my leg workout at all. I'm still moving good weight, and feeling full. My cardio consists mainly of slow/steady or a very light jog. I rarely ever do HIIT. Only when I am pressed on time!
But on the other hand..the stairmaster sessions after a brutal leg workout would make grown men cry lol3

Beastly weekend!
Smashed out some arms on Saturday and did some back on Sunday.
Feeling good with the HHE right now, tolerance is built up but I still feel the "kick" in energy from it. I really tighten up when I drop the carbs and am excited to see what I will look like in 3 more weeks.
Lb wise, I dropped 2 lbs in 7 days. Last time I carb depleted, I was sitting at 175. This week I was at 173 depleted.
back workout on Sunday with one of my buddy's. Doing try-outs for a potential new home gym this week.
Haven't posted food pics in a while so I'll hook you all up! Haha.
DIETING SUSHI MEAL..also had a side of grilled teriyaki chicken (no sauce) for my refeed/carbup/cheatmeal day yesterday. And just to tease, here's a pic of a sushi cheat meal during the off-season..we have a ton of sushi buffets around here, and for $16..its such a great deal for made to order rolls.
