Good thread. So I started my bulk yesterday I checked out the calculate your cals/macro link before. I came to the conclusion since I maintain around 2300 cals I could bulk at 2800 calories.
Well my fullbody workout yesterday that Derek posted on here that was created by RegPark took 2 hours. I ate 2820 cals. Today I woke up and lost 1.5 lbs. how much should I be eating per day to gain 1 lb a week? 20x my bodyweight? I see in the link 20x ur bodyweight I for people who train 20+ hrs a week. Im only gonna be lifting 6 hours a week and walking 2 miles on off days.Lifetime PR's
Squat 445 w/ wraps (405 raw no wraps)
Competition Bench 275
Deadlift 435

Walking 2 miles, won't really be a factor. You are currently eating, 2800, and your maintain at 2300?
You must have weighted yourself in the morning when you weigh lighter (less bloat). Really, the best way to find out how much you need to eat is trail and error, so i suggest bumping it up to 3000, and see how that works for you. If you still are losing, bump it up by another 200-300 calories
