    Okay to ride bike the next day after leg day?

    So today was my day off, and yesterday was leg day. On my day off if I get bored I usually go to the gym and just do miscellanious workouts.. like abs/cardio. Well I just started a new program monday and I guess I didn't really think about it too much.. is it bad to ride say 20 minutes on the bike when I hit legs yesterday? Thanks for the help.

    a real bike or an exercise bike?

    i ride a bike every day around campus, even on leg day. its not a problem at all, especially going down hills. that's less work you gotta do.

    i dunno what your leg workouts are like......but the day after my leg workouts i can barely walk......i wouldnt be physically able to ride a bike

    I always do 20 mins of cardio in the morning which consists of a stationary bike on a hill routine even after legs days and on leg days, I do not think you will hurt yourself by doing this, it just another form of cardio.

    Yes, doing cardio the day after legs or any lift day helps with DOMS. That's what fitty says, and I think he knows what the hell he is talkin about.
