I see a lot of people around here with nice abs. Now, I have some okay abs. They show up a lot better when I am flexing my abdominals, and not relaxed.
Is there a way to walk around relaxed and have my abdominals show up nice like say I see in magazines or what not? Do I just have to lower my body fat percentage to an extreme low?
Any input is greatly appreciated.

I think it's a fairly safe bet that whatever abs you've seen in magazines were definitely NOT relaxed.
Having just competed, even at my lowest body fat and dehydrated, you could only see the faint outline of a six-pack when completely relaxed. And I think I was pretty shredded...
(In fact, I'll post a pic, since this IS supposed to be the Post Your Pictures section )

if u've worked your abs/working your abs they'll always be there getting them to show is another story.. just make sure that u got your diet locked.. eat good meals and do a lil cardio if you have to, just try to reduce the bodyfat and slowly u'll see them appear more and more just gotta stay with it
theres a good link floating around here on abdominal workouts might wanna check it out.. (sorry aint got the link with me)Last edited by B-DynamiK; 07-14-2004 at 10:17 PM.

I agree, its all about the bf%, you'll be plenty low soon enough. No worries.
