    Creatine and Fat loss

    Hi all,
I recently got back into lifting and working out and am looking for some advice on whether or not to take a pre-workout. I am 21 5'10" 185 workout 3-4 times a week for a couple hours. I enjoy the benefits of pre-workouts and I feel like I get excellent workouts in while using them both cardio and strength training. That being said I have an excess of fat on my stomach and upper legs that I would like to get rid of while increasing my strength and fitness.

While trying to burn fat is it a bad idea to take a pre-workout with creatine HCL in it such as Muscle Pharm Assault??

I know that creatine adds on water weight and I am not concerned with my overall weight just the appearance of fat.
Thanks in advance if you reply to this thread, any input is appreciated!

    -Kyle

    Exactly ^

But creatine could throw off the scale with the extra water weight(which might make you think you gained weight)

Wont affect your fat loss, but will make you retain water. It may make you look a little more puffy, but you will have a slight increase in performance in the gym with creatine.

Personally speaking this is where I like to fit creatine in - when I'm cleaning up my diet and trying to cut fat and keep/add muscle. For me it just fills the void of lossing strength caused by dieting down.

    Thanks

Thanks everyone for the advice. Seems I should be able to burn the fat I want while on pre-workout.
