Speaking from personal experience it’s probably because we realise that we wasted years of our lives earning undergraduate degrees, graduate degrees and professional years/supervised placements

And entered the workforce in our mid-twenties

The latter is FAR more exhausting because it causes your test to drop like a rock. If trannys want to transition, they might as well just work in an office semi srs. 1. I never said I hated you. I've made jokes about your behavior here. Stop equating those things. It's overdramatic.

2. You bring up reps to me out of the blue on a very regular basis. Multiple times a week, usually. You’re absolutely right and this is the fuking problem with society. Tradies get paid slave wages unless they are highly specialized or bust their asses for years. Currently I make $25/hr without a degree at a chitty office job. I hate it, but it pays the bills. I could join the Sheet Metal Union tomorrow and be happier. My friend is a 4th year apprentice, he could get me in the door immediately. Problem is, that would mean giving up my officel income to go make $16/hr BEFORE UNION DUES, commit to 5 years of unpaid night classes and get raises below the rate of inflation until I graduate as a mechanic at the end of the apprenticeship.

Tradies are the most underpaid professions in America. It’s fuking ridiculous. McDonald’s workers literally make more than some of them. Retard soy boy homos who type up spreadsheets all day make 3x what they do for 1/10th of the effort. It’s really not fair.

my dad owns an HVAC company in Texas, i grew up working for him...being a tradie f'n sucks.

he's made a lot of money but the work is miserable and strenuous. The only people who make amazing money are the company owners, everyone else makes sh!t compared to what they do.
