While I won't get into if the war in Iraq was good or even justified it was something that was done that you could say affected all American's equally at least in terms of the financial cost to the USA. Student loan debt is picking certain people to benefit for the sake of vote buying. To people that paid for their college or chose not to go to college they're paying for some other American's decision to go to school and incur the debt.
