It's ok.
I think the person responsible decided to make money by making a movie rather than a political statement so either didn't write in or cut out lots of political crap you would expect. The anti-Trump/right that I expected was mostly washed out. They made the president an unlikeable D bag everyone basically wanted to kill and Trumpish I guess but there isn't much there. It was written originally during covid.
The story, filming and acting are decent. Nothing special but then again movies these past few years have been so crappy that this may end up shining and coming out strong for awards. I have a hard time believing hollyweird will give it much honor though since it didn't attack the right and Trump as much as the left would like.
The premise of the alliances is stupid. States aren't going to align that way. If there is a civil war it will be because groups like Antifa hit the streets then right leaning groups go out and attack and then it begins... it won't be states taking sides. Besides that idiotic plot hole it wasn't bad.
The best is the gun play. Amazing, intense gun fighting through out and at the end. Compared to the BS that usually comes out (granted I rarely watch movies) it was decent.
I would rate it a decent 6.8/10

I liked it. It's more about 4 combat journalists driving from NY to DC and the state of chaos along the route. It's not non-stop action, but the action scenes that there were are decent.
