Well they grew up during the best of times and got to enjoy all sorts of freedoms and good environments that the later generations have never known. They have always been very jaded and disconnected from the struggles later generations have as a result. Entitlement is massive among them as they have long been accustomed to things being easy.

I’m Gen X but I started from the bottom working as a receptionist during college summers and I’d ask the admins to bring me work so I could learn.

Then I was hired as a part-time admin.

Because of my experience I beat Ivy League candidates for a summer internship.

Yet I get messages from my Alma mater on LinkedIn all of the time from Millennials and Zoomers who want a $100K a year job with a degree but no experience.

Thing is the old folks of their day deserved respect as they lived through tough times and did everything they could to help out and benefit the future generations. Even when boomers do what they think is benefiting the future, it's always self-centered and focused on their personal biases and passion projects.
