Im sure they have by now, seems unbelievable that all of the systems are in tact after all this time, but is there any visual proof of a destroyed himars?
I googled and dont see anything. Saw some ******** posts but there were counter claims that i was actually another vehicle and not a himars.
Either way, im sure lockheed martin (peace be upon them) has been very happy with their performance and has seen a substantial increase in orders.

Problem for Russia is that due to the nature of HIMARS being of course mobile and dozens of miles from the contact line, getting visual confirmation of one getting destroyed would be extremely difficult, and of course Ukraine wouldnt offer the information voluntarily. I'm not as much offended by the idea that they have escaped destruction as I am using David Axe as a source. That guy is a complete clown, and an obvious one at that.

"32 km (basic rocket), 45 km (extended-range rocket) / 65-70 km (GMLRS) / 150 km (GMLRS-ER) / 300 km (ATACMS ballistic missile)" max ranges
idk which rocket types they are being given by the US, i would assume its mostly basic rockets and some extended range.
this thing has a top speed of 90km/h too. that is pretty high mobility. thats faster than a humvee lmao.

Putin’s hypersonic bluster has been exposed by Ukraine’s American Patriots
https://www.yahoo.com/news/ukraine-u...132821745.html
The interesting part:
"And it’s going to get even easier for air defences to target Kinzhal and similar missiles. Each engagement is a learning opportunity, after all. “Every Ukrainian downing of Russian hypersonic Kh-47M2 Kinzhal with the Patriot missiles will improve the Patriot missile-intercept algorithm,” explained Jan Kallberg, a missile expert with the Center for European Policy Analysis.
This not only improves Ukrainian Patriot batteries, it also benefits Patriots belonging to allied countries. “Data quality is high because it is live-tested,” Kallberg added. “It is not a desk job or theoretical calculation; this is data from a successful intercept.”
In that sense, every Patriot battery or missile reload that Ukraine’s allies donate to the war effort is an investment in their own defenses against hypersonic missiles – and not just Kinzhals. The more Kinzhals the Patriots shoot down over Ukraine, the better the American-made missiles get at intercepting all kinds of hypersonic missiles.
Even Chinese ones. Taiwan, take note."

The Russian army received the first samples of the newest self-propelled artillery installations (self-propelled guns) “Coalition-SV”. It is expected that the vehicle will take the combat capabilities of Russian artillery to a new level.

Another David Axe article repeating the false claim that a hypersonic was shot down and fell into the water? It was an IRIS T missile and no one with an ounce of credibility is repeating this. You really are proving that Polish stereotype true. Stop embarrassing yourself.

Lol what's up with the thread title? I'm in the fukk Ukraine camp, let them take care of themselves. But that doesn't mean you suddenly start simping for Russia. Russia doesn't care that you like their traditional values, they hate you anyways and want to destroy America. The KGB was working for years (and current Russian intelligence/espionage probably still is) spreading subversive content in the US just as much as the Jews were/are. Fukk them both and let them deal with their own problems.
This is the same logic as people who are taking up for Hamas just because they are opposed to Israel.See Krackerjacked's sig

Honestly i dont see what either side is fuking talking about with that footage.
Its like a total of 5 pixels, how the **** are they making out whether its an iris or a kinzhal?
The patriot system did shoot down a kinzhal “hypersonic” beofr though, there was proof of that. I put hypersonic in quotes because its really just a quasi ballistic missile.
they have also been using north korean missile lmao.

Imagine being ****inator, your potato brain suddenly realises that a real Kinzhal missile has a length of 8 m, a body diameter of 1 m. Instead you post a picture of some random dugout of something that looks like an oversized tank shell compared to the real one.
If that's what Ukraine claims, why would that "missile" be under so much sand/land? It looks like it's at least 5m+ deep, why would it be under unexploded?♞♞♞♞♞♞♞♞♞♞♞♞♞♞♞♞

not that im saying those are or arent kinzhal missiles, but what youre saying is wrong. the kinhzal missile is 8m in lenght yes, like the iskander srbm its modified from, but those dimensions are for the entire missile... whats in the pictures is the warhead. most of a ballisitic missiles body is not the warhead but the fuel cell and the surrounding sheathing.
the weight for even just the warhead is massive tbh, so even if intercepted and falling out of the sky into soft ground it will make a crater.

the kinzhal missile is basically just an air launched ballistic, the jury is still out on how "maneuverable" it is but it does indeed reach hypersonic speeds (mach5+). there is nothing particularly amazing new or advanced about this missile, so im not so sure why people are so reluctant to believe a pac2 patriot can intercept this.
i wouldnt believe the info coming out of ukraine that they shot down 10+ of these in one attack, obviously thats BS as they dont have nearly enough patriot systems or pac2/pac3 missiles, but to say that its IMPOSSIBLE for even 1 interception is stupid.
as far as i know the only real advanced "hypersonic" the russians have is the avangard HGV, which on paper is pretty amazing and i would be surprised if any missile defense in the world could intercept.
