For instance, I now work with abused and abandoned orphans in Philly and countless kids are orphans because their parents ODs. Sometimes it's right in front of them.

No human lives by themselves.

If you die, someone will find you, it will change them in some way, they will treat people differently, and on it goes. With addicts, many are young people who have kids, the kids get f@cked up by all the addict abuse and death, then the community has to raise the kids, then the kids don't get the needed love an attention, then you have sick members of society. They grow up to become addicts, criminals, not know how to raise a family if they have kids, and the problem grows.

The best bet isn't to just "kill people off" but rather take care of people to limit the cycle of crazy people making those around them crazy.

As cities were invented individual dwellings were made and so they could easily be torture chambers for kids. Meanwhile, many of us ENJOY our societies and we function well. We use our homes to relax, to have fun special times with our loved ones, and create a unique life. We probably couldn't do that in a tribal setting.

So, those of us that enjoy this society may have a certain responsibility to try to clean up the victims of people who don't know how to live in it.

Example:

If we build a roller coaster, lots of people will enjoy it. We will enjoy it and we will make money off of it. However, some people will puke in the coast and need help getting off.

We need to be okay with cleaning up the puke caused by our creation and helping out the pukers.

I know a couple of people that live in Oregon. They were always more socially liberal but fiscally conservative. Definitely drug users and had a lot of friends that are users. Supported legalization and treatment plans and all that jazz. Fast forward to 2022 and they are hardcore conservatives. Quit using drugs recreationally and no longer support legalization. In the years prior they might have been sympathetic to homeless people. Fast-foward to 2022 and they are basically like F these people.

They've basically made a hard right turn politically. Mainly because they opened their eyes to how fukked up these liberal policies turned out. Its to the point where they are considering leaving Oregon to live somewhere conservative now that their values have changed. Their city went from a little crime free utopia where LE kept everything in check to a homeless/drug addict haven.


They learned their lesson but unfortunately most liberals are just naive and dumb as hell. Pity because Oregon is a great place.

I was working on this project to clear out "homeless people" from Kensington Philly and found out that most of the people weren't entirely homeless, as they had a series of flop houses, and were abused kids, now adults, with really severe anxiety issues.

I didn't see that coming as I was used to dealing with hardcore criminals or totally insane people. Most really scummy homeless people living in bushes and whatnot were weirdly nice to me and okay to talk to, but they lived what could be called a "neurotic lifestyle".

That's where the person has an understanding of good values but acts the like they have bad values, then feels sad that they did the wrong thing.

I used to know a beautiful girl in Philly who was one of the homeless people I met, named Jess.

She grew up in Reading PA and her dad was a trucker/drug dealer and her mom was a Borderline type. The mom used Jess since she was a kid to take care of the other kids and the whole time she would put Jess down. Jess then met some psycho boyfriend who smashed her head against the ground and gave her brain damage in one of their arguments.

She had short term memory issues and then developed a heroin addiction.

She thought the bf would kill her and ran away to Philly where she lived under 95 expressway in the bushes.

Meanwhile, she told me that she wished she could meet a nice guy and have a normal life. I told her that she could get a guy in seconds if she wanted to, which was true. But, she would tell me that she didn't believe any guy would accept her because of her addiction issues in the past and that she had been homeless.

I told her that was not true.

Anyway, she had Hep C and I told her if she didn't take care of it she would die in a horrible way, plus there is a great cure. I convinced her to get on methadone so doctors could treat her Hep C.

One Christmas she tried to contact me but I was at a party and said I couldn't talk. What happened was that her insurance had an issue, she got cut off from the methadone, and bought some heroin and accidentally overdosed and died.

Meanwhile, she was designing T-****s and trying to connect with her young daughter who was living with her mom.

So, she was a person who ended up in a really weird life, not entirely by choice, and ended up dead and overall she was kind of a victim of multiple bad situations.

I never thought of that one.

I lived in Denver for several years and there were a lot of weird white people living there.

They would do things like have orgies, with people they didn't know, and engage in stuff like the Spartan Games where you crawl through mud with electrified wires dangling over the water. Then you go to Africa for a week and "Help" black kids, then do drugs, and all the white you live like an ultra white person with a great job and go to church.

I notice that I do some of what you're saying in that I live in a place you really can't have a family life so I am very work oriented. I am also very fitness oriented, for health, but also for self-defence and surviving work.

It's all about trying to distract and cope with a poor quality of life.
