LOL missed this from the other day. As beautiful as Saudi is, its one of the more challenging fragrances from the line and just didnt sell. That opening is much more "oudy" compared to the fruitchoulis Kuwait and Qatar). They had the same problem with Fruity and Candy Aoud. $ talks and thats why it was canned. I asked, and he said he was gone for good. From my discussion with his store manager, he really isn't as involved that much with Roja, and most of his attention and interest is with his offerings sold at RDHP (the semi bespoke line, Pierre de Velay etc).

By the way, we need to try this out as ive seen some reputable people state that it is very close to Saudi. I sent a few offers for a partial bottle on ebay but the guy wasnt discounting it much more than retail, and ended up selling it for less than my second offer to him lol. Oh well.

God of Fire had my attention for a while but Erba Pura Magica made me lose interest because imo it's the GOAT in that super sweet and fruity category. Toned down muscs from regular Erba Pura and smoother. Absolute peak stuff.

i feel like qatar is a niche spicebomb with toned down sweetness and oud like you said. I like it but i wouldnt pay the asking price

I've read that L'Heure Verte is like Kilian's Straight to Heaven but with Absinthe and Licorice.

I got a bottle of Straight to Heaven Extreme and so I'm looking forward to checking out L'Heure Verte.
