I learned to see through bs very quickly. I bought it because was single dad struggling living in a smaller area and just looking for a solid income and something I could do that wasn't involving physical sh*tty labor etc yet stay in the smaller area for family

help from my employees, and the previous owners and I developed a friendship so if I had any questions they were always more than helpful. Learned it on the fly. Had been a waiter before but never bartended and never ran a business

don't pay anyone off. Can't say ppl haven't f*cked with me at times over the years but being in a smaller area Im sure I deal with less of that. Just never show fear and have a backbone. Its always worked well for me.

Just didnt go after the right women and realized it at 35 or so but by then its a little late, mainly just focused on raising my kids who are now grown. I'm 45 and open to it, but also not pressed about it... women my age half are gross the other half are crazy if they're single... and the young ones at least in my area if they entertain a guy my age are f*cked up in the head too lol. Had one I thought was always gonna end up being 'the one'... who about 3 years back robbed me and tried to set my place on fire (srs) so yeah... she needs help

I truly believe I would be successful in anything I do or would have done because I have a strong work ethic. The climb is where its at though... I'm high on the hog now. I'm not a billionaire but I dont need that... I have all I'll ever need. Can't take it with you. I did grow the business after I bought it. My success I believe was a little luck and a lot of work. I was in the right place the right time had lightning in a bottle and wanted to crush everyone. I dominated the night scene in my area for 10 years straight having weekend crowds through the week. Things have slowed down a bit as my area is losing pop, covid, cell phones, etc etc but I still do very well.
