Slow that roll on telling others what they understand and don't understand. Since the Great Recession 'unemployed' has been redefined....again. If you leave a job or get laid off and you haven't looked for a job in 4 weeks you're no longer considered unemployed. I'm not sure precisely when that fun addition to make unemployment figures appear lower came about but it's been in the last 15 years. That's a consistent theme in govt stats. Over time change the descriptions and definitions to get a desired result. Same with inflation. Most everyone knows it's notably higher than govt BS.
And again, unfortunately there were 1.35 less full-time workers last month than a year prior. All job growth in especially the last 6 months, and a majority for months prior to then has been in part-time jobs. All Biden's fault? Nah. Economic cycles are too complex with too many influences to point the finger in blame or praise solely a President, but the many govt agencies that fall under the executive branch aren't exactly helping either.
Hopefully we only experience something similar to the dotcom bust in 2000 that began in Clinton's last year in office, though I'd expect something that's a hybrid of the dotcom bust and the great recession.Light weight! Light weight baby!!!!

FY23 (all-Biden with a Democrat-controlled Congress) saw a $1.7 TRILLION deficit, which Ecto has been stunningly silent about.

Meanwhile, from the day this thread started (2/16/22) until yesterday, just over two years, the Federal Government debt increased $4.4 TRILLION... BOOM™

Reality, with a still-silent Ecto who refuses to address the massive Pelosi-Biden deficits and debt we've incurred for the past two years:

Welp, banks are only required to keep 10% of cash on hand in reserves. And as of 2 years ago there was around 2.25 trillion dollars in circulating currency and the total value of cash in bank account was just under 10 trillion dollars. So basically, ever seen It's a Wonderful Life?
So it's either, just print more money and enjoy even more crushing inflation, or only be able to give out $0.25 on the dollar."The dildo of consequences rarely arrives lubed."
