Due to worker shortages, it appears existing employees are starting to get burnt out from carrying the burden of understaffed businesses....
Scary thing is, look at the trends in the workforce:As protesters across the United States voice their opposition to vaccine mandates and other pandemic restrictions, overworked employees - stretched to the brink of exhaustion, are also fighting for their sanity, according to Bloomberg.
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/...out-takes-tollAt present, there are more than 100,000 workers who have recently advocated for work stoppages around the country - while a record 4.3 million people quit their jobs in August alone - putting more pressure on an already tight labor market.
And if this vaccine mandate goes through it's all but over..
Widdins isn’t alone in his willingness to leave trucking if forced to vaccinate. Polls by trucking publications Commercial Carrier Journal and OverDrive indicate that up to 30 percent of truckers will seriously consider quitting if forced to vaccinate. If they quit, the consequences for America may be massive. US Transport estimates that 70 percent of American freight goes by truck.
“It would hurt shipping big-time,” Widdins said.

“Late stage capitalism”? You mean, totalitarian takeover as the result of socialist policies and government overreach. That ain’t capitalism. It’s fascism and socialism.
Franklin and Jefferson warned of this. Jefferson wouldn’t even speak to Adams until they were on their death beds because of what Federalism would lead to. Franklin gave it 200 years. I guess we did well making it this long. One party system; Most Republicans are Democrats, but no Democrats are Republicans.

And those problems are piled on top of bubbles in housing, stock and bond markets.
Energy shortages, continued QE/low rates
Look at this:
Europe’s magnesium shortage could shutter industrial operations within weeks, threatening thousands of businesses and millions of jobs in sectors from cars to packaging, associations warned.
Chinese exports of magnesium -- a critical material for hardening aluminum alloys and used in everything from power tools to laptops -- has plunged as the nation cuts output because of an energy crunch. That’s caused prices to spike and left buyers worldwide exposed.
China may shut back down over a Covid spike....
I don't think there is anyway to reverse the damage at this point."I am a rational animal who occupies the intermediary position between angel and beast"

How long until Brandon declares the remaining workers and those who won't vaccinate to be domestic terrorists.
I honestly hope Brandon makes a bold move and tries to actually arrest people for things, then people resist, he finds he can't enforce his rules, and the "domestic terrorists" take over america. 1/6 was a mere protest, what is coming is real insurrection and the libtards that stand up for the administration there will be no quarter.

No kidding, I was completely burned out at my last job.
Would have been there five years last week. But I left in August. When quarantine started, my team had 12 people on my level. I was the sixth to quit since quarantine, they replaced one person and that was in the beginning of the summer. Since August, one more person quit. So they are currently at 6 and they've had offers that were not accepted (I guess they were trying to wait and hire a bunch of people in a wave so they could do a larger training session but that meant they were making offers to people that interviewed months earlier - that didn't work well this time around).
So on top of taking on the extra work during quarantine (we were working remote so I give them that) - two months after quarantine began they forced the scheduled manager rotation (every three years the managers swap teams, just like every three years we rotated our suppliers within our team to prevent people developing potentially fraudulent relationships with vendors). So we had to learn a new manager, which was fine. But then my second level manager who had been there for 40 years took early retirement and instead of replacing him, they folded his responsibility under an Ops manager who doesn't have procurement experience. Great guy and he tried to be supportive but just didn't have the skills needed when we were that overwhelmed to really be of assistance.
I mean, they're chugging along and will continue to do so, but man I was so burned out from it all I can't believe my former teammates are putting up with it still - especially with how great the job market currently is.Boomer Rep Crew #1

Yep - we are definitely feeling it here at my company. People are "quitting" to leave for "better" jobs or in one case a girl left because the chance to work her dream job became available. It puts an instant burden on everyone else to pick up the slack. I get paid enough to roll with the punches but not everyone is so fortunate. I particularly feel for some restaurant workers who work where they are short staffed in part due to the fact that the owner's refuse to up their pay to attract/retain talent. So they just throw the burden on the remaining workers and put up a stupid sign "please excuse our slowness" or whatever it is. When I see that sign I turn around and find somewhere else to eat/shop.

The mandates I feel are only going to greatly effect certain industries. Truck drivers, police, lumber, farming etc. As people in these industries are more likely to refuse the vax. Things like the service industry and manufacturing the effect will/should be minimalised since these people are more likely to obey orders and more easily replaced.

Exactly. To get back to pre-Covid we need at least 5 million more jobs filled, if not closer to 10. I love how people have selective memory when it comes to how unemployment is measured. If you're unemployed for a certain amount of time, you're no longer counted as unemployed, you must not need a job. Govt logic.Light weight! Light weight baby!!!!

A friend of mine whose business is short staffed had a security alarm problem very recently. The alarms wouldn't set and doing what was suggested over the phone wasn't working. The security company didn't have anyone to send over to fix it as they normally would, because they're short staffed too!! LOLOLOL. So the business had 2 salaried managers stay overnight for a few nights, until the security company could get someone on call to come over.

Might have something to do with the CCP trying to stop buying australian coal because of their little hissy fit against us. The power supply is suffering because of it, so energy intensive industries like steel works are being forced off line. Cucking themselves because we wouldn't bow down to them. Fk the CCP.

As I mentioned in another thread (?), only 9% of the COVID stimulus went to COVID related issues and health help. The rest was used for wealth redistribution, so yeah, I guess you could call ot a bail out, but what it really is is socialism. Its going to democrat states and cities because they ****ed up so bad between letting rioters go crazy and for overdoing COVID measures.
This is the only way to keep these states and cities afloat and to reward them for their support for votes and for supporting the Vanguard party, err, democrats.
Btw, that’s what we should call the Dems party now; the Vanguard party. That’s exactly what they are!One party system; Most Republicans are Democrats, but no Democrats are Republicans.
Hayek and Mises were right; they're all socialists.

"With the intensity that Governments are forcing the vaccines on everyone except themselves there must be nefarious evil reasons. No one pushes that hard for "good" reasons. We're seeing momentum growing rapidly in the refusals by sane people to comply to the mandates, a good thing. People are beginning to march, protest, and let their voices be heard."
"According to a Denver TV station, lions at the Denver Zoo have tested positive for the covidBS!!!!! hahahahahaha. Of course, nobody stops to think, "Gee, it sounds like whatever test they are using is pure BS". Nope, the reaction is: "It's everywhere, It's everywhere! We're all going to die!!!" Hahahahaha! There is humor in human desperation.""The reason we are being murdered with genetic altering drugs is its slow acting and it causes your body to malfunction and destroy itself so there is a "plausible deniability" factor.
