Yeah, it's only 12'x12'. My routine is an old school bodybuilding routine. I really only use barbells and dumbbells, other than the lat pull down/tricep extension.
My current routine centers around bench, deadlift, squat and standing layback press as my main compound movements, pull ups and dips along with the usual isolation movements. I've never really liked using machines, I always workout barefoot, and I prefer working out outside. So the home gym is a must.

Mines a little bigger but still small, I split mine Between a spare bedroom and outside building I think the building is 14x18 and then I keep my power rack outside. Shade protection is my big issue and I have been putting up shade screens over the outside portions, But the patio that you have is really sweet and yours is way prettier than mine lol. I'll have to post a pic or video but the area needs a lot of work still. Definetly with you on loving to workout at home and outside , Screw those commercial box gyms lol

Here's my little play pen in the summer its 105 to 117 plus, winter falls to 45 to 60 degrees but you get used to it lol

Haha! The weights are the entertainment. I don't like to listen to music when I lift, or have any other distractions.

Gym is growing. Added some weight, have about 600lbs of plates now, landmine, dip bars.....working on storage for rollers, attachments, chalk, etc.

I'm the exact opposite. Got to have Youtube streaming music videos when I lift. Also have a 3 station shotgun shell reloading bench and 2 mig welders to keep me occupied between sets in my garage.

They are Coolaroo 96"x96" exterior roller shades with hand crank from Home Depot. The color is called Stone.
