Last night none of my sons or DIL went to the gym with me so I went alone. Keep in mind I have been training solo for years and from time to time when I wanted to record a lift/session Patty would just go to the gym with me on that particular day.
But now, I record almost everything I do and I am getting so accustom to doing it that last night when I was alone I spent more fcking time trying to find a spot to place my phone so I can record my workout!!! Arrrrggghhhh
I need to STOP trying to record my workouts and get with the fcking program, this phone/social media sh!t is taking over my life!!

Just upgrade your phone! Splash out $25 or so on a nice new Nokia 110.
You won't be taking selfies, or checking Instagram. But you can take a phone call if something is urgent enough to disturb you in the gym, I think it has a stopwatch/timer function maybe (if your gym has no clock on the wall with a second hand)

Also, first world problems.
You can get a nice camera and tripod - or even a tripod for the phone (which I'm thinking about getting) and it will make things much easier.It's never too late!

Jesus is apparently....
just last night I got a call from Jesus and he said , hey OS come on over and lets watch some of Bodyhards lifitng vids , and I said sure jesus, I'll be right over and on the way I'll pick up some jesus flavored doritoes and some beers to enjoy while we watch Bodyhards vids....
long story short... I ran into an old girlfriend at the 7-11 and never made it to jesus's house last night....but yeah.....Jesus is definitely watching Bodyhards Lifting vids

Yeah, I don't get the whole videoing thing either. I don't have the patience for that. I seldom watch video's of peoples lifts, I do watch some of Taters lifts though, that boy is creative and picks sh!t up with his teeth.

I will check out just about anyone squatting or dead lifting, I never get bored with that.
I don’t care for the isolation stuff, but heavy curls and pressing I will watch and any Olympic lifting I don’t care if it’s just the bar.
Would like to see some Oceanside lifting again, not sure where that video journal of his went to, one thing I won’t do search endlessly for a thread.

I mainly film my olympic moves and I've found that what works well is to just leave it on record throughout the whole exercise. So if I'm doing five sets of snatches, rather than pressing "record" and then "stop" for each set/lift, I just set the camera in a corner, hit record, then hit pause once I'm done w/all my sets. Much larger files, obviously... but you can save them on lower quality because you'e filming mainly for technique/progress. I like doing this because it helps me disconnect from the camera.. i just forget it's there. I use a notepad instead of my phone to record my lifts and I use the wall timer so it eliminates the need to go to your phone after every set.. which reduces the chances of being distracted by some bullshxt app or some meaningless notification from some wack ass dating site.
