Had a buddy that lives in MN send me some pics of the memorial setup they have nearby where he passed. They have basically the whole block quarantined off and a bunch of stuff all around the block.. Very cool place it looked like

It's a shame we only know of George Floyd in his untimely death, and don't have the opportunity to know him as a living, breathing person. These memorials are just beautiful though and I would have loved to attend to pay my respects to a man who changed this world forever. RIP sweet one, there's no more pain where you are now.

Sure Columbus did some really bad things, but also some good things. I'm not necessarily a Columbus fan, but his exploration did at least contribute to the eventual founding of our nation
You can also point to a lot of our founding fathers who owned slaves, or MLK Jr. who was a wife beater, but these people did some good things as well
We can't point to any good thing Floyd did
Do you see the difference?

It's nice that they remember him.
His family got a 30 million pay off and the cop will most likely get at least 10 years in prison.
Nothing will change in the black community though, blacks in America just want free handouts and will continue committing acts of violence and killing each other and other non blacks for no reason

No one is celebrating Floyd?
Are you sure??
I dunno about that bud
Also, maybe he didn't deserve to die that day, but honestly the world is probably a better place without him. Also would probably be a better place without chauvin, tbh
I'll also add, I don't really know anyone who "celebrates" christopher columbus lol people see it as a day off if they work a gov job or go to school and that's about it
