How do you lower your inhibition when out in public?

Ppl stare at me on public transit a lot and it makes me uncomfortable. An actual tip I read somewhere once was to imagine you have a huge set of antlers and people are just mirin your sweet rack when they are staring at you. Dunno if that will cure your autism but it couldn’t hurt to try

Yeah this is true and I've been trying to loosen up a bit and it's helping but I'm still struggling with going places and talking to people because every single person wants to be my friend or gay dudes hit on me and people I don't want to talk to think I like them and stuff

Also if you make yourself vulnerable then people try to take advantage of you. I used to be like this all the time but I'm not anymore because you have to look out for yourself when you get older

Role play with a good therapist who specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy. That way you can practice before you actually talk to people.

Be in the moment, but not of the moment.

Focus on that first part, being in the moment, in your mind without thinking about it. Any thinking, or thinking too much, will be the second part and that seems to be the root of the problem. So, focus is the key and and control of your thinking.
