Finally started route C, finished ABGO. Sometimes the game really ticks me off, and I feel like there's massive imbalances with hacking and leveling above Normal difficulty, but I guess I'm about to finally get into the "real story".
Routes A & B didn't leave much of an impression on me tbh. Practically no story and bland game world, but I'm going forward based off all these glowing recommendations.ωσяℓ∂ тяανєℓєя ȼяєω

Ok I'm only an hour in so far, we'll see. My overall impression of the game is that it's a fun open world hack and slash with rpg elements, rather than a narrative driven epic RPG, where the story and lore are second to the combat and art style. The entire machine storyline seems like it could be summed up in one sentence: machines trying to act like humans. Basically, it feels like there's very little context for anything and i'm not entirely sure what the plot of the game is.

The plot is that humanity has abandoned the androids and robots, and the androids are struggling to find meaning. Mild spoiler in case you haven't reached this part, even though it's heavily telegraphed:
Spoiler!
So how do we make a meaningful life when our gods have abandoned us? Pascal offers one answer, 2B another. The forest King, the amusement park, the robots trying to "act" human. What makes life worth living if in the end nothing we do matters?
I enjoyed the combat more than most people, but I agree it's just so so, esp considering it's a Platinum game and they made Bayonetta aka the tightest brawler game ever.Smooth Seas don't make Strong Sailors. Keep your head up.
MrWhiskey24 for jolly cooperation (PS)
