Wonder what it would look like if you swapped the receivers?

Lamar passer's rating is high because he has low volume and defenses key in on his running ability, cause he's a glorified RB...
Can't wait until his legs fail him after his prime and he's forced to pass. He will be dogch*t"It is easier to find men who will volunteer to die, than to find those who are willing to endure pain with patience."

You're never gonna win talking to the idiots on this forum. They have very little knowledge about football and will continue to parrot talking points they hear online or in order to rile you up.
Lamar can go 6 years playing at the level he is right now and they will STILL say the same thing they do now because they can't admit they were wrong

One of them went to back to back Super Bowls and the other is 1-3 in the playoffs who pretty noticeably declined this year.
Next year the Chiefs are still going to be Super Bowl contenders and Lamar will struggle to make the playoffs.
Why you even have to ask why people view Mahomes different Than Lamar says you have some major Lamar goggles on.

I'm open to rational reasoning that suggests the title is not true, I was just highlighting the inconsistency in the argument that 2.5 years is not enough sample size. Two and a half seasons is a long time in the NFL
If you want to point to a lack of post season success, thats a legitimate criticism. Thats the only negative right now, I would argue his overall body of work is enough to justify at worst top 7 status though6'1, 205 lbs

Everyone pretty unanimously has Patrick Mahomes as the best Qb and future great.
Russel Wilson.. deshawn Watson...
Everyone agrees these are the QBs that have it.
But because we don’t like Lamar Jackson or his body of work it must be a race issue? Lmao.
Race has zero to do with it and you are an idiot for thinking otherwise.
Don’t fall into Jaydogs nonsense, he’s a race baiting joke on this forum and it’s best not to be his parrot.

If he played well in the playoffs then I would agree but his playoff games are horrid
In 4 play off games total games he is...
55.9% Completion
900 yards
3 TDS / 5 INT
Mahomes in his first 4 playoff games...
62% Completion
1571 yards
11 TDS / 5 INT

Why does everyone ignore rushing yards? It is extremely relevant when evaluating Lamar and rush yards are > pass yards. That being said, his numbers are still pretty bad.
Game 1: 365 yards passing 1 TD 2 INT and 165 yards rushing.
Game 2: 179 yards passing 0 TD 1 INT 136 rushing 1 TD
Game 3: 162 yards passing 0 TD 1 INT 35 rush yards no TD
Game 4: 194 yards passing 2 TD 1 INT 54 0 TD

not helping his case if in Game 2 hes nearly 1 for 1 on rushing to passing... Some would argue Mahomes ended the season pretty average for his case and I mean they might be right but in the end he got em to the big game but the Bucs had other plans. Ravens couldn't get out their own way against the Bills.

What are you trying to argue?
It absolutely helps his case...in what world would you prefer 179 yards passing 1 int to 179 yards passing 1 int with 136 yards rushing and 1 TD? I'm not saying he is at the Mahomes tier or anywhere close to it nor am I even saying the numbers look good. I'm just saying you are being dishonest just posting his passing numbers. It's like comparing Kamara to Henry without including receiving...it makes no sense.Last edited by dyee4613; 03-04-2021 at 07:56 PM.

Because running more than passing would obviously never work, because defences adjust, but if they didnt Lamar would run more than he throws
The Ravens started most drives with several consecutive runs, or until you can stop them. Obviously most end up selling out to the run, and thats where the passing game opens up what allows him to put up Mahomes tier efficiency in passing without having anything like his skill set6'1, 205 lbs
