Enjoyed it a lot but I found the composition to be rather heavy. That is to say, I think this scent is better as a holiday candle for a home rather than a personal fragrance.

Tauer's - "Au Coeur Du Desert" on the otherhand has a very similar scent profile but significantly lighter which made it more wearable to me.

Yeah it is pretty heavy even though it's supposed to represent the wind blowing through an Arabian desert or spice market. I like it.

Been busy trying to do things in the pharmacy, my workers probably hate me but chit gets done when I'm around. Got a load of frags yesterday for the other store but since it's closed for now I made a section for them in the pharmacy as selling frags in here is allowed.

Never thought I'd make that post but here we are. Off the bat this is way better than the EDT which I tested years ago. Blended so much smoother than how I remember the EDT and didn't sting my nose, which I remember the EDT did. It's thick, the scent has some girth to it. Nothing exciting but still, masterfully crafted and I'm pleasantly surprised/pleased by this.

Can confirm bonrar. The parfum always gets me compliments.


And i found a soap from Stirling Soaps that is "BdC inspired."

Yeah this one is definitely the version to get. Performance is good on me too. I feel like parfum gives it a modern twist that the DNA needed. If a dude was smelling like this I could see why he'd get a ton of compliments. Don't think I'd keep a bottle as my 6 foot shelf has room for just a few more. I made a promise to not add anything unless I'm completely blown away.

I have Y edp here as well, will test another day.

Also tried Viking Cologne for the first time yesterday. Opens as a fresh but disappointingly generic citrus and dries down to a very nice sparkly spicy mix. Pretty much 'Viking for Summer'

Received my Drake (Better World Fragrance House) candles yesterday, sort of. I ordered Williamsburg Sleepover, Sweeter Tings, and their signature Carby Musk. Instead of Carby Musk though, I received "Good Thoughts"which is more floral.

Took a pic of the fukup, sent it to customer service, and they told me to keep "Good Thoughts", and they'd send out the Carby Musk for free. Das it mane.

Quality-wise they're dyptique tier which is a nice surprise. Williamsburg Sleepover - is a safe "grown man" scent mostly Amber and Musk. I'd put this in an office or my walkin closet, as I don't prefer overly masculine smells to dominate the living room. Sweeter Tings - is just that, really rich and sweet smelling. A lot of bergamot and rose with some musk undertones. This is perfect for the living room. Good Thoughts - Bonafide floral that I didn't buy for that reason. This one will be cast away to bathroom duty while I wait for Carby Musk to arrive.

For extra gimicky flair, they all come with gold gel markers for you to customize with your name. Ironically none of them are better than my Rae Dunn "Cannabis Rose" candle, but they're designed nice, and smell really good so no complaints.
