So due to popular demand I’ve decided to try to do a FFO this week. The theme is based on in the thread I made “if you had to live on only five foods. Each day I’ll list 10-12 choices and you can pick the five you like.
Salmon:
Potatoes:
Bagels:
Kale:
Watermelon:
Peanut butter:
Beef:
Cereal:
You can cook them how you like with in reason

Interesting you're also taking a potato break!
I chose to do so for digestion... just to test if perhaps some of my recent bloating feelings were just from too much of them since I usually have about 10oz at a time.. and with the amount of calories I'm eating right now it felt kind of taxing on my stomach. Been doing more rice and actually things like brown rice pasta and so far it's actually been feeling better."When I die, I hope it's early in the morning so I don't have to go to work that day for no reason"

That makes sense...10 oz of potatoes is a gut rock. Matter of fact, didn't consciously phase them out, but I think I did it because they were too damn filling as the weather got hotter & hotter. I'll probably go back to them once the weather gets colder over the fall or winter. The heat destroys my appetite, so I've been opting for more refreshing and less filling foods. It's odd to me how potatoes get such a bad rap from some people claiming they're "unhealthy" or "unclean", yet they're probably one of the single most satiating foods on the fuking planet & don't have many calories. They're perfect cutting foods. Ig the processed forms like french fries, mashed potatoes, & hash browns as well as low carb diets or paleo are to blame.

Same here on both the potato filling and heat points.
I’ve actually been doing overnight oats and tons of wraps which I eat cold, along with lots of fruit and yogurt since it’s been warmer.
I find potatoes insanely filling but yeah, they’re not good when you’re fairly active and need over 3000 calories... they just kind of sit there.Last edited by AdamWW; 08-31-2020 at 05:35 PM.
