Deep down, I don't think I am but I try my best. As time goes on I think I will get better. My wife was married for 14 years prior to me and she was my first serious relationship so I am playing catch up.

I think I am. Granted, we're divorced after 18 years but we just grew apart. The differences between us that weren't an issue before, eventually built up to problems that couldn't be resolved. My current fiance definitely sees me as husband material and even wants to have a kid with me lol!

most of my life I would have said yes, i was a model husband. she had some issues and it slowly boiled over into some piss poor behavior and it was really hard on me.
got involved with someone too soon after that ended, and she turned about to be a massive degenerate, srs, stuff I will never speak of to anyone, but I was too fukked up from the first one to notice the red flags at first

after those experiences, I can't see ever wanting to give myself/ open up to someone, go out of my way for a girl again. Maybe that will change with time, who knows.

On paper, probably not. I am manic, lazy, righteously kunty, hate children and have long lasting family issues.

However, I am very well suited to my Husband who also hates children and is NC with his family. He is very grounded and motivated so makes up for my shortcomings on that front.

In reality, we are extremely well suited. I always say that my husband is the second biggest arsehole that I know (with the first being myself). We never argue and are both absolutely obsessed with each other.

So I think I am very good wife material, to a very specific sort of gentleman and nightmare fuel to the vast majority of the male population.

Edit: just asked my Husband if I am good wife material and he said “This relationship only works because I am amazing Husband material”.
