lol so more recently, to buy ammo in CA, you had to either
-buy it from the LGS where they would make you do a background check for said ammo.
- or there were limited online stores that would ship your ammo to the LGS where they would make you do a background check plus transfer fees.
this ruling supposedly strikes that down so we can now order online and ship it straight to our doorstep, or buy from a friend, or buy out of state and bring in state like normal free citizens

ball ammo? like the kind specifically meant to shoot attackers in the balls?
lol
in all seriousness, catching a 55 grain m193 5.56 round in the groin would suck.
good.
but still, i hate california. all of the commie politicians that ruined that state need to be fired and have their pensions taken away from them.Merica

Yeah I kinda tend to think that whole high-COM vs 'hip line' or whatever it was for self defense with a pistol shooting pistol ammo kind of becomes much less meaningful when talking about a rifle cartridge out of a 10"+ barrel. Taking a round at close range from even a 10.3" AR, into the pelvis, is gonna **** you up something serious in a goddamn hurry

ASP walks around with an AWIB H&K VP9 but his muffin top is so severe it pushes the grip out and causes the gun barrel to go in so he is always muzzling himself in the pelvic girdle and prints so bad if ever assaulted the assaulter can reach down and grip his gun because the grip points more towards them than himself

This judge is making good calls in CA, hope the trend keeps up.

Got a bunch of apple and oak wood rounds being delivered Sunday. Picked up some free split maple last week. Headed this morning to a place that supplies split and seasoned black cherry wood to commercial BBQ joints and restaurants to pick up 1/4 cord.
Also picking up a Fiskars x27 splitting axe.
Wood plans for the smoker all coming together nicely.
Smoking a beef tenderloin roast tomorrow, the cherry will do nicelyMFC

New Orleans has been calming down for a couple weeks. The extra hospitals they built, they never even ended up needing, and the hospitals were never even close to being over run, even at our highest hospitalization numbers.
The rest of the state doesn't have much. Hospitals here are literally laying nurses off due to having nothing to do. They are still not doing elective surgeries and since they have basically no COVID patients to treat the nurses are just sitting around with their thumbs up their asses, so they're being laid off.

lmao the lifting of the CA ammo ban brings back a funny memory. I bought some of those 2x 880rd 7.62x54r in the wooden cases, and another 2 spam cans of 7.62x39 back when I lived in CA, I knew my ups man and when he delivered them was, I just remember him saying how much he hated me.
side note whats everyones thoughts on the OD GREEN frame and bronze slide, honestly its a little different but im digging it.

Just got back from the range, few hundred rounds through the Glock, Arak, and Rhino... while I was there they were shooting a cannon, bad ass. They had a cannon shoot planned today which was cancelled but 2 guys still brought theirs out to fire a few cannon balls.

makes me think of that scene from the patriot when they shot that cannonball and it started bouncing on the battlefield and still managed to take off a guys head.
I remember thinking if it bounced how would it still have that amount of force to take the guys head clean off. Couldn't you just smack the cannon ball down like a basketball6 scoops of xf up2.0 a day
