That would be some next level mind**** lmao, but even the IG post is great IMO, I respect Usman a lot more after this fight, he gave props to Colby too.
Also, Colby's strategy of being the bad guy succeeded, he's trending everywhere and will be cashing checks in his next fights.

Once again, the referee doesn’t know the scorecards, so what the scorecards were doesn’t matter. And furthermore the point was that it wasn’t a fight in which a guy obviously was dominating the fight. The point in bringing it up wasn’t to argue about what the score card should have been but that in addition to not knowing the scorecards he’d have no idea based on how the fight went.
What are you struggling to understand about this?
It’s beyond obvious that he didn’t want out of the fight and it’s for the title, so let him get knocked out or if possible somehow survive to the end. He wasn’t fighting with a broken jaw, so the ref could bail him out when he got into trouble.Of all tyrannies a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. -C.S. If ref lets it go on.
In what magical land do they give Colby round 5.
There was 40 seconds left in round 5.
Usman would been on top for the last 40 seconds.
One guy won
One guy lost.
There is no controversy.
Only morons like above saying it was bad stoppage sound like butthurt trumppers acting in denial.

you are missing his point entirely. The controversy was that in the opinion of a fair amount of fans watching the fight that the fight was stopped early. The scorecard at the point before the stoppage doesn't matter. Its not like the ref is out there thinking to himself "herdurr might as well stop this as he is just going to lose on the cards anyway derp" and he stepped in. It doesn't work that way.
Obviously since the scorecards were revealed post fight, we now know that if the fight went the distance that Usman would have taken a split decision win. However that isn't the point because that information wasn't available until after the fight. We were also under the impression that his jaw was broke but it wasn't until hours later that it was diagnosed as some sort of fracture instead
My personal opinion was that I felt the fight was 2-2 going into the 5th and Usman was well on his way to winning the 5th and taking the decision. TBH I didn't care who won the fight as prior to Saturday night, neither guy has been super exciting in recent events. I fully expected it to be a boring fight so for me it was a pleasant surprise that we got the fight that we got. Also my opinion that mma judging is still horrible and as we saw post fight, the scorecards were all over the place.MinisterOfLust: scooterbrah and Mcfreoko are the two worst posters here.

How many times were you dropped on your head as a child?
For the third time, THE SCORECARDS HAVE NO BEARING ON WHETHER THIS WAS AN EARLY STOPPAGE.
It was an early stoppage. Also, you don’t know what would have happened, there have been fights in which guys are getting destroyed and then land a haymaker or pull out a miracle submission. Overeem was cruising to victory the week before and got KO’ed in the last 5 seconds.
But once again, what the outcome would have been is irrelevant. The referee shouldn’t have stopped the fight.Of all tyrannies a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. -C.S. Lewis

Was on vacation and saved watching the fights for when i got back today
-Yan looked great, would love to see him vs Cejudo if Cejudo vs Aldo doesn't work out
-Aldo deserved the win - why even have octagon control as a scoring criteria if the judges obviously consider it meaningless
-Nunes vs GDR pretty much as expected; Nunes shows that she has holes in her game, sadly don't think anyone currently is good enough to exploit them except for Valentina
-I rated Volkanovski pretty highly so wasn't too surprised with the win, however was surprised at how dominant he looked - amazingly well rounded skill set and great fight plan
-Main event made me a Colby fan - showed great heart fighting for 2 rounds with a fcked up jaw and was looking for a finish the entire timebiddies in tracksuits
