So, this is one of the greatest tunes that came from one of the greatest albums in the 60's. This is like the first double LP's ever. My father at age 14 hitch hiked with his buddy (now a lawyer) and split this album! BTW my father looks just like FZ, why don't I????? I've always been jealous of him because of that.
Here is like the second best......now take it how you like, but this tune is about using vegetables to "get off", how phucking cool is that!
The Mothers are the greatest!!!

Oh wow, here is a great find. Even though this is live in 1970, all three of these tunes where 60's originals. They are quite different from the studio versions and at this time where the new Mothers, all new members except Ian Underwood, and the Flo and Eddie stint. I loved his voice on "I'm so lonely" and "do you think my pants are too tight, do you think I'm creepy"!!!
I'm making new finds from these early days every single day that I never heard before.

Another great find from the 60's.
Now here's what is happening here, the 1st song is mimed for T.V. Frank Zappa was against this, so he made sure to phuck it up, afterall he was in control of the band. The other singers are actually lip singing, but Frank is mummbling, cursing and shaking the microphone, very ballsy, whether is aired or not. Basically a phuck-you to the industry.
The second set is a real deal jam session.

Useless trivia
The star of this movie, Jeffrey Hunter, was a fairly successful actor before his death (stroke) in 1969.
In 1965, Hunter played the captain (Pike) in the pilot episode of what became Star Trek. However, the series was not picked up. Hunter declined to make a second pilot episode.
Later, William Shatner was brought in as the captain (Kirk) for the second pilot that was picked up by the network.
The female lead in this movie.....Hngg!!!!Last edited by deadwoodgregg; 12-07-2019 at 07:44 AM.

I've just recently repaired an old record player from the early 1960's and have been collecting records from that time. Still to be found cheap at charity shops and car boots over here in the UK, really impressed with Tom Jones, what a voice!
