    Face Pulls Are Activating My Biceps

    When I do face pulls, my left biceps keep on getting activated for some reason. I've tried watching videos to try and alleviate this but it's still activating. I'm forcing my shoulders back and down throughout the movement so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

    Pretty much all upper body pulling movements have some degree of bicep activation.

    As stated above, any pulling motion will activate the biceps. Just go with it as long as you're hitting the target area.

    Lower the weight. When you go to heavy on an exercise other involved muscles can have greater degree of activation

    Yeah I lowered the weight yesterday and I didn't feel it in my biceps. But then I also don't really feel it in my rear delts.
