    Pre workouts before game/practice?

Hey I am a football player and I was wondering if anyone has ever taken any preworkout supplments before a game or practice? like jack3d or NO xplode? I love how much energy it gives me when im working out but i have never done it before a game or practice. It normally takes me hours to get in the "right" mindset before a big game, listening to music helps. But I think if i took some jack3d before a game it really simplify things. Let me know what you think and if anyone has done this before.

    Thanks

My friend took Jack3d before a football game, and he was completely out of energy before the 4th quarter. He also puked after, but that might've been unrelated

Ive never taken them before a game, the reason why is you usually will come down and like the guy above said his friend was done by the 4th quarter. take some and then do a tough cardio session and see what you feel like. Usually when you take pre workouts before a tough cardio session halfway through you end lightheaded, and nauseated. Take some vitamin b12 and a protein shake with 1 scoop of protein and mixed in a blender bottle or shaker cup with water. THis way the protein wont fee like its sitting in your stomach. Ive done this and it works great. In the nfl before a game the players will line up and the trainer will inject them with b12. I took some that you put in your mouth and let dissolve. Its known as the energy vitamin and works well.

All of the stimulants will just make you dehydrated, which will cause you to be lightheaded or sick. You need real food for sustained energy throughout the game and you shouldn't depend on a supplement to get you jacked up and focused.

At 14 years old? Not a surprise at all... unless you're a regular coffee or tea drinker, you'll have problems shooting a stim into your system (at high amounts) at once.

    Disagreed.
Use the right supplement, and it'll last you 6 hours. In my case anyway + other guys who have used what I've used.

Incorrect, unless you're lacking optimal water intake.

you can disagree sl3 but in my personal experience when I have taken no xplode, Jack3d, superpump 250 before a workout where i have intense conditioning I end up being lightheaded and nauseated. Plus the supplement market in Canada is more regulated than ours so what your taking is different. You cant argue personal experience

Give Hypershock or Musclespeed a try. I can guarantee you won't be crashing. However... do you get a higher than usual heart rate when you feel light headed and nauseous?

That's coming from something else. Something that is likely contributing to it though, is you're not tolerant at all to caffeine. I've had good experiences drinking tea daily and using musclespeed and/or hypershock pre workout/pre meets. Occasionally (about once every 15 workouts), I'll get the same effects you do, but only after my workout's done.

Ill give muscle a speed a try probably. I have a high tolerance for caffeine drink coffee quite a bit and have taken a lot of pre workout supps with caffeine. Could have something to do with my insulin or blood sugar. Im not diabetic but I cant take muscletech products like cell tech hardcore and nitro tech hardcore because of all the sugar and how it spikes your insulin. It makes me nausiated as well and can give me a headache and make me feel fatigued. I definitely dont have a problem with caffeine, I love it.
