yeah not lifting super heavy on deadlifts anymore as I want a nice healthy spine for the rest of my life. Done a lot of research call me A ******* ALL U WANT D the risks increase the more repeated and large stresses placed on those discs, which can mean greater chance of injury and degeneration with time.
As they say in their conclusion "A high number of the world’s premier athletes demonstrated moderate to severe spine disease on MRI during the 2016 Summer Olympics, including moderate/severe degenerative disc changes with varying degrees of disc bulges and herniations.". To conclude very heavy lifting over time will somewhat compress the discs in our spine, would like to see some studies saying otherwise

Not calling you a ******* at all nor am i saying you need to do heavy deadlifts. I think you should have a deadlift movement in your routine and I think it should be done first, or at least early, though. Pre exhausting your back prior is just asking for an injury which is ironic considering that's what you're trying to avoid.
Bench: 365
Squat: 495
Deadlift: 535
