I'm going to try and avoid creating any drama this year in the chat section...but I won't stop offering people trades they'll regret accepting a week later lol
Also, the Patriots are my favorite team. I think I'm going to try and avoid taking any of them this year. Too frustrating when they struggle IRL and then I lose my fantasy week because of it. I took Gronk in the second round last season. Paid off well, but I left a lot of RB talent on the board because of it. I think at one point I had Brady, Gronk, Cooks, Burkhead in my starting line up lol

El oh el...where do you get these kind of projections?!? Lettuce not pretend that Tyrod is going to be vastly improved this season. He's playing on the Browns. Even with WR talent around him, no body on the Browns is going to have double digit receiving TDs. Tyrod barely had double digit passing TDs himself last season.

I mean, it wasn't a bad line up, just too stressful. I mean if I had Brady, Gronk, Edelman, Michel, I'm sure my team would be alright again this year. Brady and Gronk should be top 3 at their position again this year barring injuries. It's just hard taking Gronk in the second round and Brady in the 3rd when there is a lot of RB talent out there that you won't find in the later rounds...

For their WRs, I agree. I think the RB narrative around NE is vastly overstate every year. There's RB production every year from their offense if you know how find the trends.
Brady's down games last year were definitely stressful. I remember week 1 thinking I made a terrible mistake drafting him. Worked out in the end.
I'm still not sure where I land on the RB landscape this year. I think there's going to be an over-correction on high pick RBs being taken over WRs this year because of the down year for WR scoring overall. That coupled with data I've seen recently, betting on an RB1 to repeat the following year is a bad bet. Average rank of RBs 1-3 in the following years from 2000 - 2016 is RB16.8.
I may be looking at building teams around WR this year depending how things develop.Gym PRs - S 400 / B 320 / D 500

I could be wrong about Taylor, but I'm not high, no pun intended, on any of the Brown (not racist) WRs.

per my post above i am in step with Tyler2106 on the Tyrod debate.
put it this way; if he makes use of the weapons around him in cleveland it will be the first time in his career he's ever done so. there was a time when people thought charles clay was a potential beast of a TE. that offense also had robert woods, chris hogan, and sammy watkins. nobody did much besides sammy and even that was 1k yards + 9 TDs.
to think tyrod will be throwing 10 scores a piece to landry and gordon is high, high, high expectation.

Pats homer here as well, but I usually try to stay away from their players haha. Idk why I thought Gillislee was going to do well last year...that was a burn
I feel like Michel is going to end up splitting carries with White/Burkhead and not live up to his ADP as well
Matthews could be a sleeper in half PPR/PPR leagues. But it's probably going to be White leading the team in receptions lettuce be real
Let's not forget it's the Browns we're talking about here..I think 7-8 TDs for Gordon would be a fair assumption and like 5-6 for Landry
I feel like a lot of the "sleeper" HBs are rookies who have chances to take over their backfield (TB, DEN, SEA, WAS), guys who performed not so great last year (Ajayi, Cohen, TyMont) and the rest are valued about where they should be.
This is without looking at rankings rn and just going off the top of my head. Best sleepers are sometimes the backups of starters who get thrust into a workhorse role when the starter goes down/is traded away (from last year: Kenyan Drake, Aaron Jones/Jamaal Williams, etc)

I've seen people here down on Ajayi, but I think he's going to be a legit RB1/2. Blount is gone, so he'll get goal-line and 4-min drill work, he's decent out of the backfield, and his competition are 40 YO Sproles coming off ACL reconstruction and Corey Clement, who was undrafted and is probably best in a backup role. If Ajayi stays healthy, he could end up as a 3-down back in one of the best offenses in the league.
