This stuff is so hard to source.
1 sentence they say it cost 180k an hr to run Air Force 1.
Next sentence they say obama flew to San Diego and back and it cost The Secret Service records for Obamas October 2015 fundraising travel to San Diego reveal expenses totaling $180,187.09. Including the U.S. Air Force expenses, total trip 2mill
That's an 11hr round trip it should be. 1.9mill just in plane flight $
It seems like the used a different fig for obama then they did trump.Dodgers!

You would hope that if he's trying to save every penny and help with the deficit, he would also try to save on travel even if it is a small amount of money in the grand scheme, but nickles and dimes can add up.
My main question is (forgive me if it was answered earlier in the thread I didn't see it though) does he profit off of these trips to his own places? At trump tower and Mar-a-lago does his detail and other government workers who have to follow him get accommodations at cost? Or are they being charged regular rates and the government paying the bill? Because if his companies are making money from his personal trips to his own places, that seems a little messed up.

The math here is logically inconsistent. It simply makes no sense.
If it were true, he wouldve spent a billion on travel alone during the campaign.
The only way I can figure it makes any sense is that the outrage of the left have raised SECURITY costs to a level never before seen.
Should he be golfing? I'll leave that up to you but one game was to butter up a very important ally - something he admitted he'd be doing.
Beyond that, he's been a work horse. Perhaps not producing the substance you'd like to see, but his administration is still hamstrung.
As far as the math goes... sorry, it just doesnt make sense.“The life of man is solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short.” – Thomas Hobbes, 1588 – 1679

Heard the same thing when George W. Bush was going back and forth between his ranch in Crawford, TX and DC.
U.S.S.S. job is a lot easier when their boss is the sole proprietor of the location they are traveling to, and they have carte blanche when it comes to access, and needs. Not the same as going to a franchise hotel like a Hilton or Marriott, and having to deal with other guests and logistics.

Fools. Not its not. The Great Wall of America is a step -- backwards -- in the wrong direction. Its only good if you have a vested interest in its construction. What, they don't have the internet in Mexico? Its as if the tire was locked on that guy. Karma?

This. If Bush flies to his ranch, its in a secluded area. How many people would be needed to secure and vet this area
You also have to have people vetting both airports
And also protecting from both sides of the water and beach and air. Idk why people are acting like this area can be guarded by 15 people. There is probably 15 people working the bridge alone vetting people driving in/out.

As long as their daddy Trump "protects" them, his supporters DGAF what else he does. And I can't wait until he kicks out all the illegals and businesses start going out of business because they can't find anyone to do the **** work that Americans are too good to do. Plus the country will lose all the taxes the illegals pay. Should be really interesting.

I haven't lived in Canada - nor voted for 13 years
I became American - as much as you or anyone else here November 16th, 2016
I guess this is how Americans just live their daily lives? Make stupid assumptions, deflect repeatedly and just make 'noise' - rather than actually displaying any form of logic. There are some surprisingly far-right Canadians that identify as Americans - whether through greed, selfishness or just outright stupidity.
Mr 45's an American demagogue - he appeals to patriot Americans and themselves only. However, many Americans can see through the bullsh!t - through the fallacious logic - and just outright recognize the glaring display of stupidity in general.
These Americans are not simply the 'libs' or 'lib cucks' as I've heard mentioned so many times. With reference to the intelligence-moderation hypothesis - either end of the IQ spectrum correlated with educational achievement votes liberal for different reasons. Young white males with a BSc alone are the large majority of that pool who vote Republican. (Solon et al (2014). Intelligence. 47:44-53.)
Y'all seem to taking leaps and bounds of faith on this dude who seems to lie consistently on television and to be thoroughly intertwined with Russian political influence. It's astounding that you even allow such.
Basic economics lesson completely misunderstood by typical repub Americans advocating mass immigrant deportation:
1. Kick out cheap labor
2. Prices go up as the replacement demands minimum wage
3. Y'all are left shaking in anger in your booties because you didn't expect any of this
4. Chaos ensues, whereas so many of us saw it: your blind commitment/devotion to an idiot and 21st century Hitler in a sense triggered the entire domino effect (let's be fkn honest - replace the word 'muslim' with 'jew' and ask yourself if you sound like a damn Nazi)
And let's be honest, illegal immigrants don't have a single job that any middle-class working white male would think of pursuing.Last edited by Canadian_Lifter; 02-22-2017 at 11:56 PM.

http://www.snopes.com/trump-obama-golf/
You are being disingenuous. He said can you believe Obama is golfing while the whole country is a mess. He never referenced what Obama supposedly skips in his tweets.
Donald trump still thinks this country is mess :https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.b410290352dd
Even if he did mention the Ebola thing he tweets about Obama golfing 30 plus times so unless he mentions an instance at lest twenty times you are still grasping.Last edited by hammbergler; 02-23-2017 at 01:55 PM.

But what is he accomplishing at his golf course that he couldn't accomplish from the white house?
It's one thing if the travel is necessary for work, but going to a resort golf course doesn't seem like their is any government related business that would require being there. You think someone for a mind for business would cut unnecessary travel expenses. I know most bosses don't allow their workers to just bill the company because they want to do their work from the beach instead of the office.
