    Greens supplement worth it?

So I have been looking at a greens supplement for my diet recently.

I do NOT eat many vegetables, if any. I am very picky when it comes to them. I pretty much just stick with caesar salads and that is pretty much cheating in terms of getting greens IMO.

So, would a greens supplement be worth it in this case? Do you actually notice that you have been taking it?

I have been looking at Controlled Labs Greens since I take most of their products already

Yes you could benefit from greens for sure. I noticed a big chance when i increased my dark leafy veggies along with a scoop of Green Vibrance which tastes like **** but an epic profile. You should get the Controlled Labs Greens for sure.

Have you actually tried cooking or preparing veggies that you may like?

There isn't a green supp on the planet that can make up for lack of eating high micronutrient dense choices.

Yes, I have tried so many different ways. Each time a person says "oh you haven't had it this way, you will like it this way". Nope still don't like it

I can manage corn (doesn't count cause there is nothing in it) and some salads but the good stuff, I can't get into it. It sucks

Sure, they're definitely worth it. They're no substitute for eating veggies, but it's better than nothing, and a great addition to the diet. I highly recommend picking up a Nutribullet; buy frozen fruit at Trader Joes, throw some in with a bunch of spinach or kale, vanilla whey if you like, and blend it up. You can't even taste the greens.

CL's greens are great, but keep in mind the flavor is minty and goes good with chocolate protein (delicious by itself, may not mix well in a smoothie). SAN Green Supreme Fusion is fruity flavored, so it goes good in smoothies, but sucks with Chocolate protein.

While there is no true substitute for eating whole foods. A greens supplement can be very beneficial do someone who neglects the micro nutrients in their diet.

The way I look at it is it's better to over-do it than under-do it. I HIGHLY recommend fitting in more fruits and veggies in your diet regardless. But yes, a Green's supplement would be benefitial is ensuring you're getting a good round amount of nutrients.
Progressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!

Yes they are a start but add some fruits and other sweeter options to make it initially more palatable for you. Some fresh spinach, banana, honey , protein powder, milk etc make a whole meal type drink and you will probably enjoy it.

I like greens supps just as a tasty beverage that's healthier then others. Definitely no substitute for eating vegetables though.

    Ones I've enjoyed are

Oximega greens - heated - favorite
Prime can't recall name - straw kiwi
San green fusion was really good

Mostly this. If you only like them in salad, maybe try dunking them in hummus or dressing (though obviously if you go crazy, you'll push the calorie count up, which you may or may not want, depending on your goals).

But if you aren't getting a lot and want to supplement:
Green Vibrance: Probably the top choice
CL Oximega Greens: Good bang for your buck
Prime Phytoform: Tastes the best but I think it's probably more fruit than veggies
I haven't had SAN's, but I'd trust that that one is quality too.

green vibrance used to be goat and is still good but they changed it

keep in mind its disgusting but just make in a small amt of water and chug it

SAN green vibrance tastes good and best profile imo outside of GV.

The spinach kale option is best though. You cannot taste it at all.

E3 Live fresh frozen liquid Klamath Lake blue green algae is my all time favorite...you actually feel better shortly after taking it. That is harder to find though, usually in the freezer section if your local health food store carries it. Controlled Labs products are very good, I havent tried their green but looking at it, its very healthy for you.

if he doesn't want it, I'll gladly take it lol

Green Vibrance is.....not delicious. I like spearmint flavored gum and CL Greens tastes close to it. It is a good choice. SAN makes a good one as well.
