Hello. I am currently in 8th grade and I’m 5’7 (probs gonna be 5’9 or 10 next year) am I big enough to play linemen in 9th grade?

yes.
You should be able to sign up for your HS summer strength and conditioning program. Go, you'll start bonding with your teammates before August camp. My son started lifting with the HS football team after 7th grade and he's not tall (5'11") but he's a beast.Last edited by sowilson; 10-04-2018 at 07:07 PM.

In general, yes. But there are tons of factors. Do you want to play line? Is that where the coaches will likely put you? What does the rest of the pool of players look like? What does the rest of the league look like? What skill level do you possess? I could go on.
The reality is that, yes you could. Will you? That depends on a lot of factors, most importantly where your coaches believe you will be suited to help the team.
Focus more on gaining strength, speed and endurance. Talk with the coaches if you need programming or help. They'll likely be happy an upcoming 8th grader is thinking about these things now rather than in July."I'm pretty sure your wrong, but care to elaborate..."
