I do not think about them at all in my daily life. I go about my day doing everything I can to make the best out of the situation that I am in and improve upon them. The times that I encounter people that are in a better life situation, I proactively engage in conversation and take with me as much out of it as possible that I believe will help me better my life. I believe it is a better way to live life to constantly strive to improve oneself in a positive manner, instead of being a jaded, ignorant, liberal socialist always blaming others and making excuses for why their life is not what they think they deserve.

In my opinion, the wealthy became that way through hard work, great business ethics, but some others just inherited the money. I don't really care what the rich are doing because it's not my life.

About free tuition: A lot of my college mates work for their education, but then there are some who feel like they deserve free education. It's fine if they have a high enough GPA and can get scholarships, but a lot of people just go to college to waste time instead of studying, and then expect to be given a free ride.

Asking for free education is as rational as asking for a unicorn. There's no such thing as free education, there is only education you pay for yourself and education paid for by others. If they want government paid education, that means they want strangers who have never done anything wrong to anyone to be threatened with the violence of a visit from armed government tax collectors if they refuse to pay their bill.

They aren't exactly infinite, but in all practical purposes they are close enough. The earth is huge and there is plenty of raw material. Materials that have been used can be recycled and used again. You can't destroy matter and none of it leaves the earth, so we always have all the same raw material. Harvesting and refining things might be a problem, but that just means there are still opportunities for people to create new ways to do those things.

Every person only has 24 hrs in a day, but with millions of people sitting around all day, there is unlimited labor.

Things will get worse as the population grows, but as for right now, there's still limitless potential for wealth, it's not a "fixed pie" as others have put it.

I don't have any thoughts on the wealthiest in the country. It's their money, if they want to buy boats and mansions, that's fine by me, they're not breaking the law.

On the topic of kids being entitled and different from previous generations when talking about college tuition, it's different these days. College costs are waaay higher than they used to be. Min. Wage may be higher, but, because of inflation, you have to work way more hours to be able to afford college tuition. I do not believe college tuition should be free, but I do believe it should be more affordable and college loans should have way less interest. Plus, back in the day you didn't need a college degree to get a well-paying job. Now, that is an entirely different story.

Also, while the rich may have worked for what they have, there is a problem when the top 1% owns the bottomw 90%. Plus, many of the elite class cheated their way up illegally, but pay no consequences.

I've got no quarrel with the rich folks. I do get frustrated at a middle class that refuses to support others in the middle class and then complains/wonders why when the middle class shrinks.

We buy our groceries at Wal Mart, instead of the local guy, so we can save 50 cents on bananas. We buy a cordless drill at Home Depot instead of spending $10 more at the mom and pop hardware store. We justify why we feed into the systems that make rich people richer, and wonder why the middle class is disappearing and the poor are growing in numbers.

You have made a real valid point of concern that others don't get. Not up until recently have I changed my purchasing ways. I am willing to pay more for products that are sourced and manufactured in the United States. I also now attend farmer markets and shop at local shops more often than I did in the past to support my local community. Due to the Informational Age and the globalization of economies, there will be more conglomerates eating up the mom and pop shops. I believe that every person should start by supporting their local communities first and foremost.

Honestly, I don't think the richest affect my life that much to think about them. They already played their cards generations ago and were able to profit over the years. Heck, even now you can do it. Look at Mark Zuckerburger or any other tech boom.

Why would I sweat over the richest? Bill Gates donates a lot of money for research and charity so that benefits the mankind. Would love to see the same if that same money was in circulation spread equally among lower working class. Nope. Honestly, hating on rich or demanding equality is like hating on those with better, more aesthetic physiques - can't demand that they need to be taken down to our level because I can't get there myself. Of course these are different levels of difficulties, but my point is that I still should be trying to make it on my own.

Really, can't understand the logic of pursuing some liberal studies then crying how unfair it is because people who DEVOTED their lives to their business and acquired SKILLS to earn the wealth they have, have more money than their sorry ass women studies degree. I don't think every profession should be equal. You should be able to live on it, but if you can't find a job in the field with women studies degree then that's your own fault. Use your brain before pursuing useless degrees, there is no demand for those at large.

Supporting one's local community is what I am a supporter of. Regarding policies involving the nation's economy and what is best for the middle class, I am not an economist and will never pretend to be one. I will happily defer legislation regarding taxation to more knowledgeable people that will bring the income levels of everyone up as in the general principle 'a rising tide lifts all boats.'

A large gear that doesn't redistribute any of its mechanical weight or power evenly causes the entire clockwork to either run slower or break.

If you're wealthy: 1. Spend continually. 2. Stop hoarding 3. Stop purchasing lucrative products or services that no one else can afford. 4. Don't complain. 5. Understand that your efforts are no greater than your economic lessers.

All wealthy people inadvertently create more wealth in a year that most ever will, even if they are a complete misanthrope and only care about self-benefit, money isn't made saving, but investing. Wealth cannot be multiplied but through wise investing decisions, thus even the most degenerate trust fund baby will have handlers steering the money into productive sectors.

    1.Invest>spend

    2.1% investment and 99% hoarding from a wealthy person>spending 100% from a peasant

3.Oh you mean like how computers/cellphones or other items that started out extremely expensive became profitable through rich people buying them and thus were improved to a point where we now have more technology at our finger tips than 99.9% of presidents/kings past?

4.Yeah complaining is bad, unlike what your post does

Also this, I dont think the average person understands how much of an effect the ultra-rich have on advancements in tech, medicine, etc.

I still lol@the idea of free tuition, as a current student I can see with my own eyes what a massive fcuking waste of money that would be. If you want free tuition go earn it in high school, I'm getting paid to go to school thanks to all my scholarships and I earned every penny of those reimbursement checks I get every semester because I did and continue to run circles around the mediocre student body. If you're outperforming the vast majority of your peers, you get more because you deserve it, that's called life.

Free tuition is good, in the same way you should get access to free NCAA football/baseball/basketball and hockey training, why should just elite athletes and people who have worked hard get trained by these top coaches?

    You're a hue-man bean after all, it's only fair.

**** standards, **** the fact that it cheapens the education and also **** the fact that it would waste their time with incompetent people. It's 2016 for gosh sakes (CURRENT YEAR!), we are ALL equal in every way, we don't need 16 deodorants or any form of metrics to measure our worth relative to one another.

I know there's licensed versions of monopoly for stuff like Star Wars, Simpsons, etc. But it never occurred to me that other countries would have the places based on famous streets in their countries. Mind blown

Anyways, when I was getting my mba, my marketing professor told us that the single biggest determination of how you view the upper class - the richest 5% say - was if you were "working class" or "middle class". Basically in advertising/marketing, there's an upper class, lower class (defined as receiving some type of gov assistance) and then in the middle, side-by-side are working & middle classes. And the difference between these two (who are generally the targets of advertising) is their personalities/views of the world, since often the two groups make the same $$$.

    1) Working class people resent the rich and have a cursory understanding of economics, at best. They regard the economy as a zero-sum game, wherein someone can be rich only at the expense of someone else being poor.
    2) Middle class people look up to the rich and aspire to be like them. They understand the economy is an expanding pie, where everyone is capable of getting a larger piece so long as they're not potatoes.

Who says that countries who already have "free tuition" don't also have elite schools and/or the option to pay extra money for private and specialized educations?

Also, if you're against changes with higher education as the way it is, how do you propose America fixes the $1.3 trillion dollar debt that grows at a rate of $3,000 a second? Or are you in the small minority who believes that it won't cause problems for the future generations?
