The fact is Windows OS is poorly engineered from the ground up. Like Android. Its a mess.

So when you install stuff on your machine it slows down. When you use it for a months and months it slows down. The way OS X is designed, this doesn't happen. So they prove it doesn't have to be like that.

So thats why we act like they are all chit tier, because they are. And no competitors can match the track pad response speed and the efficiency of the battery life. These have been proven and measured over and over and its not a debate. You can't deny the stats and benchmarks as much as you want to green boy.

Nobody uses Pro Tools and you don't need a Mac Pro for music thats too much power you can just use iMac or MBP for music.

Fit and finish is above and beyond any PC Many companies have quality finish. Razer, Asus, and even Dell are good examples. I am very intimate with Dell products. Fit and finish are not even close.

Macbook air is underpowered and pretty much inferior in all aspects for the Ultralight category. I only use an ultralight laptop so that's what concerns me.

But macbook air is actually cheaper than the best PC alternatives. Complete opposite tends to be true for the Macbook Pro and the larger comparable PC laptops

i like my mac, i easily use it 4-6hrs a day, be it studying or watching movies
its about 4yrs old, and has not problem at all, not even a virus and i have easily over 1000hd movies downloaded

also resale value is absolutely insane, i put it up on a local buying website and people were offering me 750-850$, when i originally purchased it for about 1300 including tax
for it to only depreciate not even 500$ in 4 yrs is incredible considering computers become obsolete so quickly nowadays

anyways, think about phones and accessories...




Then think about how they have a "new" model every few months, which is basically the same model with a tiny change.
