I feel like this past week has been my most successful ever as far as training goes! Topped off yesterday's leg day/2 mile uphill run with a 2-hour soccer session this afternoon followed by chest day. Totally failed the superset with overhead extensions/abs (my abs decided not to contract anymore lol), but otherwise, feeling great!
Now I'm off to nerd it up at a Super Smash Bros tournament...haha. Hope you guys have a great weekend.MFP: Owlyx

I did a double workout yesterday... first was Deads/Hams/Calves/Traps with DJH, and then instead of ployometrics it ended up being a full body workout at my group training. With cardio esque things at the end. I'm so sore today ahah

Killed the planned full body workouts this week and seeing some leaning out despite maintenance + 10% calories. Dropping reps/set from 12 to 8 next week and raising weight by 10%. I can tell something is changing. Had that good heavy but not sore muscle tightness all over today. Some awesome work going on here by all of you, keep it up.

I hate that my laptop died... makes it hard to get in here, BUT I am still kickin' ass in the gym! Seeing some great results in the mirror, starting to see a few cuts here and there and feeling stronger!

Damn snow here again, expecting another foot+. I get up drive the wife to work because she has to close out the end of month, takes 45 min for a normal 15 min or so drive. I figure I'll hit the gym while she knocks that out then go back and pick her up before we get buried. I drive 45 min back to find out the damn thing is closed.
Looks like shoveling will be some good cardio work later but pisses me off. They didn't even send an email out till around 9am saying they were closing for the day...Lead Forum Representative

Hello everyone!
Hope everyone had a great Superbowl weekend! That pass was a shocker!!! I'm still recovering. lol Anyway, thanks to Wilson, I won 20 bucks.
This week's off for me, trying to heal my right elbow tendinitis, and was advised by the doc rounding at work, to rest it up already. Sucks having a doc gym mate and work mate. lol

Just finished reading Bill Campbell's sport's nutrition book. Very fascinating and informative read. Going to apply some of what I learned towards affecting body composition while maintaining strength and as much muscle mass as possible. Apparently, subtracting 20 - 25% calories from maintenance is a sweet spot for losing weight without it negatively impacting performance in the gym. Adjusting calories and seeing how it goes.

Bah, this week sucks. woke up yesterday with huge pain in my femur (from car accident feb 2001) - its very rare but when it happens it's game over for a while!
snowing, so no motorcycle.
three days away for a funeral from tomorrow
