What a waste. He could've gone for his 460kg goal, or at least had 450kg as part of his total.

Someone should have caught that. Also, they shouldn't have loaded the bar so stupidly. 430kg on that bar is an even 8 reds. Why the fcuk did they decide to load it with blues, yellows, greens, and whites, when there are more reds sitting right there in the rack?

based on what Spoto did with 700 at the kings of the bench meet with the same plates I'd say they're pretty legit. It wasn't super easy and if you go back and watch his first attempt at breaking the bench record with 716 at Marks meet shortly afterwards, he pops that crap off his chest just as fast if not faster than he did at the kings of bench with 700 even. Keep in mind Marks plates are the normal looking comp plates that you're used to seeing. I know you didn't ask me, but it made me think about that. If those plates were light I'd think Spoto wouldn't have moved 716 as fast or faster than he did 700.

When I lifted we used brand new kilo plates. He did his wr with big chrome lb plates and they were 100% legit. I was there and saw them, and a friend of mine Jim Veronin a well known powerlifter was there judging and knows the owner of the plates and they are of course real.

Unless Sean has the money to keep 6 mis calibrated 100lb plates in a shed, I doubt it. I've used the same 100s that were in the DL video at one of his meets and if anything it felt heavier than my gym weights.
