I am positive that if not for the foot injury Julio would have been a top 3 WR last year and would be taken in the first round of almost all drafts this year.

So long as that foot holds up he easily has top 3 WR upside and top 10 is guaranteed baring injury IMO

Personally, I'd be shocked if Jones doesn't re-aggravate his foot injury. Especially with hairline fractures being common after coming off a broken foot.

But if it works out, it works out. If Jones stays healthy, Farley will become championship caliber. not srs about championship caliber

Right or wrong, Julio's ADP is WR5-WR6, so it seems the consensus is in his favor.

I thought you were more reasonable than this pc. As I outlined in the other thread, I went full retard and took two TE's in the first three rounds thinking I could flex, but you can only start one...I'm not going to leave Graham or Julius Thomas on the bench.

I shopped Graham because frankly he is that much easier to move and his value is that much more clear.

There are three WR's between Graham and Julio by ADP (barely, Marshall is like a tie).

I offered Graham for Green, no go.

I offered Graham for Dez, no go.

The Marshall owner already had Vernon Davis so I didn't even bother him with an offer (I don't think).

Next up is Julio.

I also put Graham and Thomas on the trade block, and for a full day after the draft, when everybody knew what I did and everybody knew I was looking to trade a TE, I got exactly zero offers even worth considering.

No way I'm putting Julius Thomas on the bench and starting Riley cooper. I'm replacing Riley Cooper with Julio Jones and it only costs me stepping down from Graham to Orange Julius

But FWIW I either use commissioner approval or no approval necessary (instantaneous) in my standing leagues and have never had an issue. They either went through and that was that or I approved them as soon as I saw them. No issues.

Really, I see no reason to make people wait through a voting period. If something is so blatantly wrong that it would get veto'd, the commish (me in these cases) can reverse it/put a hold on it/whatever using the magic wand and then simply ask for a vote on the league's board (or people can speak up and then that action can be taken)

But again, I haven't had a problem in the 6+ years I've been a commish.

I don't get why people use a 2 day wait. During the season that can really be an annoyance. With most weeks having games on Thur, Sun, and Mon, and waivers going through overnight from Tue to Wed, what 2+ day period do you want players tied up awaiting a trade to finalize? Anyone can veto whatever they want. If you personally don't think it's fair/in your best interest, go ahead and veto.

That's why I am currently only using commish approval. I did the instant one year when people asked, but am back to approval. It is faster than a 1 day wait but still avoids things like that...just in case you have cheaters in your league.

If I had an instant setup, and I was commish when that happened, I would make use of the magic wand to retroactively edit their rosters/lineups. And they would not be invited back.
