    How to begin intermittent fasting?

    Hey everyone, this is my first post on here. Have been looking into intermittent fasting and am keen to see how I go with it. I was just wondering how to start it though? I don't plan on beginning now, but after my next bulk. What I mean is, should I have a couple weeks of maintenance before starting it? Or just jump right into it?

    IF is fasting for 16hrs and eating your macros for 8hrs basically.

    Like anyone who does it, to get lean after a bulk. I've noticed a lot of people tend to get leaner faster than someone on the standard 6-8 meals a day, plus it would help with the hunger I get between meals.

    Some people get less hunger with IF, some people report higher alertness. Some people feel cold and cranky. Something to try for yourself.

    6 to 8 meals are not standard by the way, they're standard bro science.

    I don't understand why you are pointing out that it slightly increases resting energy expenditure when you are saying that it has zero proven beneficial effects on fat loss?
