Do it. Take a riding course. You can always get an older ninja and sell it at almost the same price later on because of the turnover.

Aren't many bikes that are better to learn on than a Ninja 250R. I see your dilemma though. Those pre 09 ones are fugly, still though you'll probably only have it for a year then you'll either want to upgrade or quit. And it's not like you look at the bike when you're riding.

Photos taken of my SV just got kicked out of the parking garage by a fat bald rent a cop. I had to work fast as I knew they'd eventually show up. He told me I had to delete the photos because they're on private property. I said, ok, then did a ninja memory card swap when I was "picking up my gear" show him memory card that's blank. Boom.

Im surprised too lulz, thanks for the info and will be looking into riding courses, I know they hold a class on a campus near me.
