Whats a MAO-B inhibitor?

Im taking PEA pills from prima force(making my own pre workout with bulk stuff). am i suppose to take a MAO-B inhibitor to make it more effective? if so what is it.

Monoamine oxidase inhibitors, mao-b deaminates(removes the amino group) phenylethylamine, dopamine and trace amines.

any of the purported MAOBI's you find like hordenine or black pepper wont actually make a difference. no supplements out offer strong enough maoi for the purposes you're looking

It may spare substrates in the GI lumen for a mild peripheral effect like minor appetite suppression, but that's all

Hordenine compete's with MAO-B, but does not inhibit it. Based on SAR with its non-phenolic cousin, hordenine would have exponentially less affinity for the enzyme then native ligands (i.e. PEA), and so would have no sparing effect. Furthermore, appetite suppression is entirely central, not peripheral.
