I guess maybe I may be using the wrong term by saying bricked. It's got power, the blue LED is on. If I hold the power button it'll occasionally do the T-Mobile jingle but not stop a little into it. Hard resets, etc don't do anything though. Nothing shows on the display at all.

$6 for a quick charger when you enter the code WALLCHAR .
Reviews are decent but done reviewers said it's not the best quality. I figure for $6, I'm willing to try it.

Cool, this one looks like it provides both. I don't want bulk as phone is big enough already.
Rugged Armor for LG V10
Slim and Flexible Protection
The Rugged Armor case gives your phone a robust appearance without the bulk. Its single-layered TPU construction maintains a slim profile that’s flexible for an exact fit in a detail-oriented design.

Thanks, will def get this one - respect your opinion. I'll let you know once I get it.
Main thing here is looking for grip on sides, & protection so I don't have to be paranoid when my 3.5 yr old is playing a game on it.
With the S5 Active, I never had any worries - and it was thrown, dropped, etc..
update: done. Prime shipping, arrives tomorrow.Last edited by TheMatzah; 12-29-2015 at 07:37 AM.

Looks like display is the problem. Based on your description, looks like phone is booting but just can't see anything on the screen. Try to reboot, then let it sit for a while until the time you think its on the homescreen. Then press the volume up if you can hear a beeping sound. If you could, then you're on the homescreen and its working except for the display.
Edit: Just read you're getting the replacement.Steam - jinda28

I used my Discover Card. It sounds like I still get rewards points which was a bit of a concern: https://www.android.com/pay/

Got my replacement Note 5 and so far not happy. My reception is horrible compared to my old phone. I'm at work and only get 4G, not even LTE. I had it all day before. Then I was at my sister in laws house yesterday where I used to get LTE....Edge. WTF. I gotta return my loaner today, but I'm gonna say something when I get there about this phone.

SIM card would not transfer from a LG Nexus 5 (too big) to a LG Nexus 5X. I had to purchase a new one from the T-Mobile store.
Noticed that Google Now has vanished and I cannot connect to my home wifi. Fortunately, I have unlimited LTE so I downloaded all the apps over my data. Don't miss Google Now but I need to figure out how to get my phone to connect to home wifi.
As I have read, the sound quality out of the front facing speakers sucks. Someone had got me a portable battery charger pack for Christmas but that cannot be inserted into my Nexus 5X. The fingerprint scanner is a lot more convenient that typing in a password every time the phone gets locked.

It's actually the opposite. Samsung Pay has hardly any banks. Android pay works with almost everything. Samsung Pay has more terminals that accept it though. They keep adding banks, but I'm sure my local credit union will never be on there.
Samsung currently has 30 specific banks. Android pay works with your banks credit/debit card backer i.e. Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express so many much more support. You are the only problem you will ever have and YOU are the only solution.

I was thinking it may have something to do with the router Time Warner Cable gave us. Calling their technical support is a headache but they might be able to adjust a channel so I can connect. My phone saves the router after I log in but does not connect.
Google Now just needed to be activated by using the Ok Google bar so that is good to go. It has been a couple of years since I got a new phone.
