My youngest sister is getting married this Sept. There will only be 4-5 girls. We plan on doing an overnight retreat so we don't have to drive. She's not doing the typical traditional wedding, so we're trying to keep the same idea for a party. Any ideas on what we can for fun...something different?

You could do a wine tour, that's classy. Or go camping. Or go PAINTBALLING. Paintballing, then camping, with some personalized wine bottles for each guest. And maybe a cute parting gift, like a mug shot with each member covered in paintspews.
A friend is doing a wine tour as her upcoming bachelorette party. It's fancy sounding, yeah, but with this particular group of people, it's something we've ALL done before. I like the idea of doing something new and out of the ol' comfort zone. Like PAINTBALLING.Last edited by vVanTine; 05-14-2013 at 06:46 PM. Reason: I've always wanted to shoot someone. WITH PAINTBALLS.

You're in western Mass right? What about the North Shore? In Sept it might be really nice. I used to live in Beverly and I love the towns north of there. I mean assuming you're not looking for a party atmosphere. Rockport and Glochester have great beaches and seafood

I've always thought a spa day with champagne and h'ordeuvres would be fun. I'm not into the strippers and penis paraphernalia though. Dinner and dancing is fun too.

If you guys like outdoorsy stuff y'all can go jet-skiing or fishing rent a cabin somewhere and go out during the day and come back in and partyy your asses off in the evening!
If you guys like indoorsy stuff you can go to a show-- comedy shows for bachelorette parties are always fun. Make sure you dress the bride-to-be in very obvious bachelorette gear so the comedian can make lots of fun of her. You can rent out a hotel and get a party bus or limo to drive you to/from the show so you guys can all relax and hang out to / from your destination!
Have lots of fun!!Follow my journey! -->

Kim where in Ma are you? I'm in Ma too. How about The Berkshires? There's a couple really really nice spas up there and also the Lee Outlets.

Haha that's awesome - go paintballing! With alcohol provided if anybody wants to partake in that as well, maybe a nice big grill out in the evening after all the drunken festivities lol. Hell you could do this with your friends any time, doesn't have to be a special occassion, I like!
